Think about it

Think about it

A Poem by Kat-Marie Berti

Dear Justin, I am the girl you met on a summer day

Not too long ago, you fell in love with her completely

She was young and foolish, but kind and caring

You knew she would grow up to be worth a handful

A lovely young maiden to be swept off her feet

And take her off on your horse with a kiss of your lips

Oh she'll love you, you'll love her, for the rest of your days

Days when your glad you are still very much alive

Because life is a journey, neither short nor sweet

Every breath that we take is a stake to the heart

You battle it on, from beginning to end

For a soul purpose of trying to fill a moment of time

So, weave around the shadows of my heart

Beg forgiveness, pray that I am the one

I am not the way I used to be

I've changed a lot and soon you will see

You've dreamnt for ages that this would come true

Dreaming every night of gold and silver stars and comets

For God to bless you with a worthy woman

Ready to care for you until your last day

Am I what you've always dreamed of?

Would you be happy to have only me forever?

Think about it, take as much time as you need

Just let me know if I am all that you've ever desired

I really liked this piece. It was beautiful, tender with just a touch of melancholy. Nicely done
