2 Queens

2 Queens

A Poem by Blu Walters

She's a firework
She likes to flirt
She likes to hit the city is this little microscopic skirt that doesn't leave much to the imagination
She's loud sometime and so what?
You know what?
I like it
It's righteous
I love her confidence
It strike me as passionate
And in a place as passionless as this
Its an honor to be the one to have to grab her hips and tell her to calm down

She's the silent type
She's really shy and nice
She likes to stay at home watching movies on silent nights, especially when it rains
She can be timid at times and so what?
You know what?
I like it
It's righteous
I love her consciousness
We stay up late talking about lucid dreams
The future, our pursuit of things
And really just what it means to be human being

2 Queens, either worthy of the moon as a wedding ring
I'm torn between the two and I risk losing everything
Best case scenario, I can keep one as just a friend
Worst case scenario, three broken hearts in the end
I turn to the sky and scream for an answer out loud
And see silhouettes of them both up in the clouds
Whether out painting the city or talking about lucid dreams
I find myself in love with 2 Queens
