RIP GRANDAD

MY GRANDAD died of cancer and i decided to write this poem

 A man of many talents with such a loving heart,
 You always made people laugh right from the very start,
 I remember the times you took out your teeth and chased us all around ,
 And the time we all laid by the fireplace after walking through snow on the ground,
 I will never forget these times grandad and I will never forget you,
 It's not the same without you but I know you'll guide me through,
 I'm sad that I won't get to see you no more I'd give anything to have you here,
 But Heaven has gained another Angel and I know that you'll always be near,
 I'm so proud to call you my grandad you mean so much to me,
 I wish you didn't have to go but I'm glad that it was pain free,
 I take comfort knowing you died peacefully as you drifted off to sleep,
 The memories of you are treasured and in my heart I keep,
 A Husband ,a father, a grandfather and friend to all of us you are,
 I love you more than you know your my bright shining star,
 Rest in peace my beautiful angel.
