Morning Love

Morning Love

A Poem by Kaitlin W. Blaylock
"

I woke up the other morning, singing this song. Sounded like something I would hear on a Country Radio Station. Wrote it down, and realized that I had composed a song in my sleep. Go figure! I dedicate this one to every couple who knows what it's like to

"

Wake up in the morning
Look at your sweet face
You look just like an angel
Touched by grace
Lean over give you a sweet kiss
Wake up just like Sleepin Beauty
And I say
Sweet, good mornin love
There ain't nothing that gets better than this
In a lifetime
Like a beautiful summer sunset
Rocking on your front porch swing
And a tender kiss
We hold each other close
Sing that same sweet ole song
Together
Watch the kids play outside as one of 'em runs and hides
Like we used to do
Wrap my arm around you
Sweet good mornin love
Sweet good morning love
There ain't nothing that gets better than this
In a lifetime
Like a beautiful summer sunset
Rocking on your front porch swing
And a tender kiss
We hold each other close
We hold each other close
Sweet good morning love
There ain't nothing that gets better than this
Never Better
Sweet good mornin love
It's what we have together

Love it, I would love to hear it been sung.
Some amazing things happen in our sleep.
Keep going and let me know if it gets made into a song.
In a lifetime
Like a beautiful summer sunset
Rocking on your front porch swing
And a tender kiss.
Sure want to experience sitting on a porch.
Not sure if you meant it but I see in the two lines "Sweet good mornin love
Sweet good morning love" the morning is not the same,
Thanks for sharing.
