Mike

Mike

A Poem by Abdul Batin Osman Bey
"

Punk style lyrics about this guy I knew who was immature

"

When will you grow up?

Join us adults at the table

Thirty-five still acting twelve

What kind of son did you raise?

Your child doesn’t even have the same last name as you

You’re a fool

Your girl is twenty-two

Everyone is laughing at you

You haven’t a clue

Temper tantrums are not forgivable at your age

Bully tactics don’t work when no one is afraid

People smile to your face just to stab you in the back

Even your mother hates you

You’re a fool

Your girl is twenty-two

Everyone is nailing her behind your back

You do see what I see

Guido

Don’t you think its time to grow?

Don’t be afraid to become a man

You’ll have to do it one day

You’ll have to do it one day.
