My Kind of Love

My Kind of Love

A Poem by Arrianna
"

The way our hearts work is very strange.

"
Beautiful eyes
Inviting smile
You waste my time
Make it worthwhile

Effortless flair
In breaking hearts
So debonair
A ruthless art

Sweet like candy
Cold like ice
All fine and dandy
Naughty but nice

Your presence is like an arrow
It turns me into mush
Brings peace like a sparrow
Or pain like a burning bush

Beautiful smile
Inviting eyes
I'd run miles
If you were my prize

Author's Note

Arrianna
I get a lot of crushes...and by "my kind of love," I mean the kind that usually isn't returned.
