Between the Stars

Between the Stars

A Poem by Aramey

Stars stretch across awakened flesh,
disguised as distant freckles,
dusting a canvas of hidden radiance
under a veil of pale moonlight.
Definitions of life, reborn,
like witnessing a nebula,
behind once blind eyes.
Color, scent, touch...
senses, explosions,
endless seas of secrets and mysteries,
waves that pull my fingertips
mapping each dotted line as they go.
Moments that make dreaming, uninspired,
pale in comparison, to life... between the stars.
