On A Sea Of Sorrow

On A Sea Of Sorrow

A Poem by Ohgal625
"

Often we hide things from people that we don't want them to know or see it's those things that we hide that usually ends up causing us the most harm.

"

We set sail on a sea of sorrows in an ocean of deep regret,
capsized by human nature as we strive towards ignorant bliss

We whirl around in a pool of lies caught in the undertow of the sins we hide.
what we've put off for tomorrow, on this day, can not be denied,
As we aspire for the ultimate perfection on a tidal wave of confusion we ride.
Violently we crash into the shore, we reel in the aftermath of are own demise
Shipwrecked is the lives we've had, as words of truth unspoken, has lost a tainted soul at sea.The price we pay for our disillusions, love is embedded deep within the sand.
We set sail upon a sea of sorrow an ocean of self regrets.
