City Smell

City Smell

A Poem by MissFunnyBunnyBoy
"

Thought of this while driving to school the other day with the window down. It had just rained and everything smelled fresh. Kinda took me back to when I lived in backwoods Minnesota.

"
Fresh crab apples
Cinnamon pie
All the things I left behind

Yesterday was full of beauty
Pine in dewy grass
Dirt between my toes and nails
Blue sky I had at last

Fresh roses
Minty leaves
Smells to make one giddy

That was all I left behind
Now I smell of city

About
I only write when I'm feeling it which isn't a lot of the time. But when the occasion strikes I'll jot something down. Mostly just ideas or half-finished projects. I also participate in NaNoWriMo as o.. more..
