the cushion of protection

the cushion of protection

A Poem by Anon
"

my biggest pet peeve

"
You drive a Camry not a Maserati, Porsche or Cherry Red Ferrari,
the paint peels like your tires as you leave the parking lot fulfilling my expectations of your character,
You park so close to the building that its a wonder how you managed,
to find two damn spaces to park in.
I roll through the lot just trying to find a spot to park my '99,
as I drive past the one thing I see is your terrible parking job.
don't give me that "cushion of protection," You could use with a quick touch-up
a little ding would be in your best interest.
I drive around the lot a second time and as I roll by I realize,
there's enough space on your drivers side for me to squeeze in,
so I decide its high time that I break you down to regret;
I park against your drivers door before my shift,
You'll be here until sunset.
