Antwerp (Belgium) is the site of our bank robbery tale friends. It's also the place where there's rumored warlord related blood-diamond traffic trouble coming from South Africa. It's a rich and storied Euro-city and the place where a modern-day Robin Hood like thief seeks to make a splash in the media by creating waves about the natural allure of diamonds, arguably distanced from the dark pit of blood diamond terrorism!

Blood diamonds are conflict diamonds mined by warlords in South Africa and connected to the financing of violent regimes there and are now linked to gem markets stretching to Europe and to places like Belgium. That's why recent movie-stars from the USA have studied this problematic modern market and made movies about it, including Blood Diamond (Leo DiCaprio).

The BNP Paribas bank in Antwerp holds safe-boxes owned by some unscrupulous Dutch barons living in Belgium. That's where our modern-day Robin Hood thief plans his diamond heist, of one of these baron's safe-boxes in the dark of the day. The thief's name is Isaac Satan, and he's staked-out the bank for security monitoring around the clock!

Isaac Satan ('Robin Hood') walks into the bank in Antwerp with a Coronavirus face-covering and glasses and shows his briefcase to the manager. Inside the briefcase is a stack of counterfeit bills and a silk bag with a plastic gun containing acid in it. He also presents the manager with a photo of his residential home and indicates he intends to swap the blood-diamonds from the Dutch baron's safe-box, #445, and place the counterfeit money in the safe-box as a substitution and present to the Belgian press on behalf of Interpol that the baron's linked to some counterfeit activity from South Africa and needs to withdraw his commercial activities from Antwerp immediately. The bank manager knows now this 'Robin Hood' means business and may have real ties to Interpol!

Isaac Satan ('Robin Hood') procures about $10 million worth of the Dutch baron's blood diamonds from safe-box #445 and places the counterfeit money in the box as a replacement with the help of the escorting bank manager who's been told to report this switch to the police once the thief exits the bank safely. Isaac trades the diamonds in the black market for cash and deposits it then in his new private Swiss account and flies to Geneva. From Switzerland, he phones Interpol to report the questionable money activity involving the Dutch baron at BPN Paribas and ties to blood diamonds from South Africa!

A Belgian journalist named Connie Halep is assigned to the story and reports that there are strange 'underground waves' regarding tumultuous diamond activity involving Dutch barons living in Antwerp and investing in diamonds in Belgium. The story makes big gossip and suddenly Interpol is investigating more gem investments in Europe tied to South Africa in possible routes. Connie Halep wins the Pulitzer!

Meanwhile, a detective from the UK working for Scotland Yard, descended from an English nobleman who was chasing the legendary English highway robber Robin Hood, a man who stole from the rich and gave to the poor, is now tracking Isaac Satan to investigate if this Antwerp heist was actually a veil to add more fire to the blood diamond hellmouth. This English detective remains cynical about the imaginative notion that a Robin Hood of modern times can cleanse the real warlord hellfire of South African blood diamond folklore!
