I'll tell you what I told my psychiatrist. I had been working at MIT on robotics design and am a big fan of the sci-tech adventure media franchise Robotech. One night, I had a dream I was transported inside the Robotech universe and became the space-pilot known as Max Sterling!

I went to college at Dartmouth (New England) before starting work at MIT where I began computer design work with robotics and A.I. systems and model characters such as Video-Man. I started watching Robotech to entertain my interests in futuristic storytelling. At Dartmouth, a very imagination-fertile American school, I read Asimov books about robots in the New England winters!

I made a cassette recording of my Robotech fanfiction works online, a sort of compendium of comic books homemade. These stories and campfires homemade represented my sci-tech fascination with robotics and graphic-design work and computer work and therefore was a catalog of my work with modernism toys!

Robotech captures my lifelong fascination with the magic and romance of sci-tech imagination and conceptualization, and the characters are glowing symbols of man's admiration of science and technology and therefore reflect a human passion for the basic beauty of designed digital age!

I even dress up like a vigilante-superhero from some of these Robotech online picture-comics to showcase adventure tales about space-pilots traveling to Earth to rob corrupt African/European barons and warlords of their evil blood diamonds and reorient the harmony of planetary capitalism!

INTERPOL: Blood diamonds or conflict-diamonds are hellmouth for modern fascism and regime financing and are despised.

My girlfriend thinks I'm too absorbed in my Robotech sci-tech toy and vehicle obsession and dance, but she was in my dream in the Robotech universe as my girlfriend, Max Sterling's wife, Minmay!

Robotech is a nice trophy for this age of digital dance and robotics computerization and advanced virtual games. This was begun by the time of Atari and is now well-developed with things like Xbox and Netflix. Robotech is a flag of underground modernism design toasting, and it's not just for kids!

Robotech avatars represent some of the most fun ideas regarding war and politics and science-fiction and espionage!

I'll buy my girlfriend a nice McLaren car someday so she'll get over my Robotech obsession and forgive my inherent sci-tech toy fantasies!

ROBOTECH WRITER: This is a franchise celebrating the human romance associated with the 'dance' of IQ.

Inside the Robotech universe in my strange dream I relayed to my doctor, I was the space-pilot Max Sterling, and I was battling the inglorious Invid species in outer-space as a nerdy but tactical war commander. This was defense of democracy and religion in the universe, friends!

ROBOTECH FAN: Our comics and art represent the nature of modernism storytelling and toy designs for robot-campfires!

So, in this Robotech dream, I imagined I was constructing the parametrics of nature itself and the splendid wonder of the evil black flower of warfare, while commandeering impressive and dark Robotech war-machinery. How'd we develop such dystopian imaginations?

PSYCHIATRIST: Maybe Max is really concerned with the quality of life in our time, which makes him think about aliens!

I disagree with my doctor and believe my Robotech dream symbolized some kind of strange curiosity about the negative impact of overdrawn technologies in our age of great sci-tech ambitions!

DOCTOR: As long as Max keeps perspective on the reality of organic life here on Earth, he can indulge in sci-tech delusions.

I decided to buy some Christian stained-glass art with my girlfriend after having this lucid and strange Robotech dream about the space-war with the ingloriously evil Invid robot species. This art now captures my human passion for piracy adventures and science-fiction humility!
