==== In the neon city of Reno (Nevada), there was great traffic and tourism in the lit up casinos and gaming centers and entertainment lounges. That's why two American idealists flocked there to debate about the special symbolism of competitive capitalism in the new millennium! ![]() The two idealists were Isaac Satan, an Algerian-American ex-CIA operative who'd worked in the UK smuggling blood diamonds from safe-boxes belonging to corrupt Euro-barons using gems to finance terrorism for warlord regimes; and Marcus Damian, a Turkish broker who liked the idea of capitalism rhetoric. Isaac and Marcus were now both thinking about the nifty iconography attached to American consumerism and capitalism propaganda, and special toy-like items like iPhones and 7-11 Nike sneakers in Reno (Nevada). ![]() ISAAC: Reno reminds me of a special little niche for capitalism escape. MARCUS: This city will move us to think about the quality of commercial vanities! ![]() Isaac and Marcus were playing 21 at a special casino-table in Reno when they both spotted an amazing showgirl walk by, lit by special dazzling gems and quills and feathers. They both approached her and realized they're competitors, though in this case, Marcus revealed the upper-hand, impressing the lovely lady with his gold cards. ![]() ISAAC: You may have won this round, Marcus, but I dare you to drink with me! MARCUS: Oh, a special truth-serum round before I take flight from Reno, eh? ![]() Isaac and Marcus sat down at a private Reno lounge-table and adopted two Marvel Comics avatars for their nifty little debate about capitalism symbolism in modern America. Isaac Satan adopted the offbeat gambling nomadic acrobat antihero Gambit, while Marcus adopted the potent magnetism-manipulating telekinetic dashing antihero Magneto! Gambit was always more liberal and libertine, but Magneto was always more spearheaded and gallant. ![]() ISAAC/GAMBIT: Reno is all about the magic of escapism! MARCUS/MAGNETO: There's plenty of intellectual stimuli in Reno, Gambit. GAMBIT: Yes, Magneto, but there's lots of toys to remind us of the play of capitalism! MAGNETO: You strike me as a pirate-like character. Isaac/Gambit. GAMBIT: Yeah, but you strike me as something of a warlord, Marcus/Magneto! MAGNETO: I doubt you consider the weight of labored capital. GAMBIT: It's true my skills move towards minimalist piracy...I love pirates! MAGNETO: Reno isn't just for pirate...it's also for deep thinkers. GAMBIT: Maybe that is true, Magneto, but I think toys about profit inspire courage! MAGNETO: Courage is part of capitalism, but so is deep intelligence, Gambit. GAMBIT: Maybe that is true, but minimalism is a highway to great child-like imagination! MAGNETO: Capitalism breeds anti-Western terrorism and not just playful rhetoric, sir. GAMBIT: True, but playing in Reno reminds me of the human joy of socialized rhetoric! MAGNETO: Maybe that is true, Gambit, but you neglect the weight of negligent piracy. GAMBIT: Americans appreciate solid folklore regarding the frills of child-like mechanics! MAGNETO: Perhaps you and I may agree about the mental allure of symbolic commercial ornaments. GAMBIT: Such as? MAGNETO: Such as...mechanized imaginary gurus. GAMBIT: Excellent! ![]() What Isaac/Gambit and Marcus/Magneto discovered during this stirring debate/discussion regarding the colored contours of capitalism-symbolism in lit Reno (Nevada) was that one may never under-estimate the imagination value of basic socialized dogma, which made the odd pair wonder if fortunes in America somehow reflected a deep meditation about the role of deadly tyranny! ![]() ISAAC/GAMBIT: I think Marcus (Magneto) will remember our lively chat about the value of Reno-DNA; God bless America! ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2021 Abishai100 |
