![]() Inferno: American DressingA Story by Abishai100![]() Castillo and Gambit seek to use ultra-inventive modern thinking to create a stand against capitalism dyslexia in America.![]()
An Orwellian toast to Michael Moore, since I've written so many capitalism-heist romances/fables! I'm referencing two Marvel avatars, Castillo and Gambit for this one (Marvel fans know why!). Enjoy,
----
==== Blood-diamonds were sullying the global diamond market, mined by warlords and financed by corrupt capitalism-barons to fund terrorism in the new era. This was the hallmark of the darkness of modern inventive globalized capitalism, and it was also a sign of the rape of Earth. ![]() American diamond merchants had long been distinguished and proud in their efforts to make jewelry-sales in North America a thing of great beauty and passion. However, the US city was suddenly sullied and darkened by this inventive new era madness in black market diamond smuggling, and American merchants simply couldn't sift through respectable gems to find the corrupted warlord gems, or blood diamonds. This was a complementary sign of modern urban depression! ![]() Two evangelical street vigilantes rose to prominence in NY/LA to combat this terrible diseased capitalism in this new age of great media advancements and quarantine-life optimism (e.g., online commerce!). These two super-heroes, Castillo and Gambit, were themselves eccentric pirates from Scandinavia and now US citizens prowling the streets like a modern-day Esmerelda and Artful Dodger. Castillo/Gambit cast the darkness of sullied capitalism as a clarified sign of destroyed commercial idealism following the trauma of 9/11. ![]() CASTILLO: If it weren't for American computing, we'd no longer be the world's Big Brother. GAMBIT: This is the quality of the American Inferno, dear --- sullied machinery! CASTILLO: We have to root out the causality behind the pure rape of the environment. GAMBIT: Right, for there's no metallurgy and lights without sanctified organic religion! ![]() Castillo/Gambit cited something very accurate and unusually correct about this terrible modernism 'Apocalypse' of sorts, which was destroying the quality of creative-thinking regarding capitalism vanities! Castillo/Gambit cited the corruption of the matrix of goods as a pure 'rape' of the environment itself, and as we know from great poems and literature, rape is the hallmark of the destruction of imagination securities. Nothing leads to deformity like rape. ![]() The adversary of Castillo/Gambit was the hellraising underworld crime-ghoul known as Pinhead. This scarred ex-lawyer in NY/LA wanted to use legal loopholes and lawsuits to gift more powers to the corrupt capitalism-barons using blood-diamond financing to justify new era inventive American darkness. Pinhead was the AntiChrist perhaps, and Castillo/Gambit hoped to characterize him as the anti-ferryman of this American Inferno! ![]() CASTILLO: It's useful to cite the ancient demon-deity Medusa in this crusade, brother! GAMBIT: Medusa, the snake-body anti-goddess of hypnosis/obsession? CASTILLO: Right; for Medusa captures this modern Inferno fixation on the undeniable nature of vanity. GAMBIT: True; Medusa does tell us that vanity is as permanent and therefore hypnotic as wealth itself! ![]() Castillo/Gambit hoped to use this 'street-crusade' to combat blood-diamond 'thinking' in this terrible American Inferno to derive new ways to conceive of escape from torture and spiritual descent. They sought to rescue children trapped in the prisons of urban neglect; mothers abused by drunken policemen-husbands jaded by their own inefficacy; coworkers murdering each other in spite of natural bureaucratic claustrophobia; corporates exploiting the raw nature of commercial conveniences (e.g., Playboy). Boy, this sure sounded like a revelation or Inferno of capital desperation! ![]() CASTILLO: I feel like we're the proverbial 'archangels' of city-dance! GAMBIT: We'd certainly have to reinvent the quality of American dialogue. ![]() Now, we'd all been exposed to Apocalypse and Orwellian literature and figurations growing up in some form or another as children of the late-20th Century, right? However, what Castillo/Gambit were doing was illuminating the raw muscular flesh of civilization vanities as exposed through the mythological/metaphysical lens of clear instinctual pride! They'd found a way to use avatar-thinking (e.g., sociological historianship) to cast human vice as a form of Apocalypse/Inferno dehydration. This was a way to talk about unimaginable spiritual numbness! ![]() CASTILLO: Think of the 'media god' that Tom Brady of American football has become, brother! GAMBIT: Yes, he's like the Goliath of modern consumerism/entertainment. CASTILLO: We must orient media markets in terms of more healthy socialized fitness. GAMBIT: We have to turn capital muscularity into socialized dance. ![]() So, how exactly do you go about turning 'capital muscularity' into 'socialized dance' as Gambit phrased it? If we look at the iconic statue of the Minotaur-like metal bull, diadem of commerce-symbolic Wall Street, in front of the iconic defiant young girl, diadem of capitalism-symbolic American dreams/defiance of fortune-purgatory, we might see that the American Inferno is not a thing of conceived magic but rather of constructed synthetic...dogma! ![]() CASTILLO: To fight dogma, we need to expose the 'rape' of environmental fortunes! GAMBIT: We have to expose why neglect of the American Dream robs us of the magic of democracy. ![]() Were Castillo/Gambit merely ultra-liberal street 'philosophers' on a typical and almost cliched Kerouac-like 'Beatnik' quest to qualify modern capitalism excesses as simply evangelical conversationalism? Some believed these two prophetic American antiheroes were more like 'Robin Hoods' of the American Inferno, bringing us a welcomed dose of inventive spiritual thinking in this new time of great and dangerous dollar-actions. Only time would tell if America would continue to shine as the world's Big Brother. ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2021 Abishai100 |
