Lotor, prince son of the evil Emperor Zarkon, had helped his father wage war against the valiant Voltron lion robots on a faraway planet until Lotor betrayed his own father and was himself expelled. Lotor decided to travel to Earth and take up residence in California (USA) to find a new mission in life and intellectual adventure.

LOTOR: Earth is interesting, and the various American cities leave nothing to be desired, but I had to choose one city!

Lotor transformed himself into the humanoid American scholar Amlan Satan and started teaching courses at the prestigious CalTech where he taught students about the psycho-sociological value of digital-art characterizing the labyrinths of civilization strategy and intuition. He'd made multiple cartoon-like comic book children's drawings of goblins and spider-man and also collected various sketches of classic cartoon figures made by professional and even amateur artists for his lessons on the digital age of silhouette mosaics symbolizing the 'matrix' of modern civilization diagonals in America. He'd become a real nerdist of socialized digital diaries!

LOTOR: I need a side-hobby and we'll take up diamond-piracy in North America, to rid the control of blood-diamond barons!

Lotor (Amlan Satan of CalTech) now doubled as a diamond-thief named 'Sparrow' and lifted the conflict gems (warlord-mined gems used to finance terrorism and corrupting the global diamond market because of the spheres constructed by corrupt capitalism-barons in Europe as well as North America) belonging to various barons such as Emil Kuyt. Sparrow (Lotor) had become a true pirate of baron blood-diamond subversion, using various techniques like veiled theatrics and acid-gun distractions in Cal banks to become the real infiltrator of North American blood-diamond traffic. He'd been mentioned in an Interpol report about the value of detecting modern vigilantes who'd been able to subvert baron blood-diamond dollars in California!

LOTOR (Amlan Satan): At CalTech, I may continue my scholarly presentations and re-presentations of digital consumerism!

Lotor had collected so many worthy cartoon prints and drawings, both for children and adults alike, for his CalTech courses, that he'd gained the reputation of becoming a curious 'lion' of the modern era of digitized social designs!

Sadly, however, Lotor (Amlan Satan) remained lonely as a successful and shining CalTech professor in the modern era on Earth. He'd wanted a real love in his life and tried courting multiple very beautiful women in California. However, he'd learned that his special personality which was naturally ego-centric, tragically inherited from his cruel Emperor father Zarkon, was transparent to the multiple women he dated/courted who ultimately dismissed him as somewhat of a vain prince. Lotor decided to console himself for this failure to make substantial emotional contact with human women by creating digital mosaics of maiden-drawings for his CalTech papers!
