Narrator relates the 'folk-tale' of the unforgettable 1991 World Series (Twins-Braves), in which the media journalist Gia recounts great design.

"
This is a diorama-vignette of the amazing 1991 World Series (Twins-Braves), considered by many to be the greatest American baseball championship of all time, with the best of 7 game-series coming down to the final Game 7,  5 games decided by a single run, 4 decided in the final at-bat, and three going into extra-innings! Wow, right? Add to that the miraculous oddity that during the previous season, both of the competing champion-teams (Minnesota Twins and Atlanta Braves) finished their divisions in dead-last place --- both! Now, both streakers were suddenly competing for the championship title. That's never happened before. It was also tied for the the longest 7-game World Series ever, with 69 total innings played, the same as the 1924 Series (Washington Senators and New York Giants). This game reminded us why sports/sportsmanship in the Western civilization decries the notion of anti-dollar terrorism! Enjoy (and God bless),

What makes American baseball so fantastic? I mean, it's only a game of two teams, switching offense-defense in marked 9 periods of 'innings' of play, with one team batting and one team pitching and fielding a small hard-ball. However, the magic created on the diamond-shaped baseball-field is something that no American can deny! It's why this fanfiction story about the 1991 World Series captures our media-era love of sports and sportsmanship and great competitive spirit in the USA, a toast to the general strange 'dark magic' of the sport of baseball.

My name's Amlan Satan. I've been an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, but I collect Minnesota Twins baseball-cards! Ironic, right? Well, the 1991 World Series between the Twins and Braves is considered by many to be the greatest of all time! It went to 7 games, with great last-minute heroics in Game 3 by David Justice (Braves), which brought the Braves storming back from a deficit, and Kirby Puckett (Twins) in Game 6, which sent the series to the deciding Game 7. Now, the Braves/Twins finished the previous season in dead-last place, and suddenly in this season, they're in the World Series competing against each other. It's uncanny sports-writing, which is why I'm narrating this baseball folk-tale as a real modern American 'nerdist' of sports-diaries.

However, this 1991 World Series folk-tale isn't just about the Twins-Braves but also about an excellent female American media sports-journalist named Gia. It's her coverage of these great games that made the 1991 Series a nice thing to remember for American baseball fans who liked to recast the experience through radio/TV.

Now, as Gia mentioned in her sports-casting for this uncanny 1991 World Series, the starting pitchers like Jack Morris and Tom Glavine (Twins/Braves, respectively) had earned special reputation for being dependable and ended up showing up to this championship series with excellent strokes of genius in moments when their team really counted on stable mound-casting for opponents batting with undeniable fury...and ambition. These teams were dead-last in the previous season, after all, folks!

GIA: The Twins grabbed the first two games of the 1991 Series in good fashion and by solid lead-scores.

How the hell would the Braves come back from such a hole? Now, the Twins had defeated a rival in the AL pennant series in just 5 games, while the Braves had to complete a full 7-game series in their NL pennant series. Were the Braves simply tired?

GIA: American fans of the uncanny sport of baseball come out rain-or-shine, which makes the sport a diamond.

Gagne's home-run in Game 1 of the 1991 World Series between the Twins-Braves cemented home the idea that these two teams possessed real gifted geniuses of the sport who're destined to make this series between future-season streakers simply unforgettable...and beautiful.

GIA: Any Atlanta fan appreciates why the Cy Young caliber Braves pitcher Tom Glavine gives their city hope as defenders.

After losing the first two games of this uncanny series, David Justice's late-inning heroics in Game 3 finally brought the Braves back in it, and they proceeded to grab the next 3 consecutive games, taking a shocking 3-2 lead with an uncanny chance to win the entire series after losing the first two games, friends!

GIA: Braves fans love the likes of David Justice who gives his aspired team a touch of stated excellence.

It wasn't just the Braves who came back in it to try to win it. In Game 6, which also went to extra-innings, the heroic Kirby Puckett hit the late game-winning home-run that sent the 1991 World Series to the decisive Game 7.

The Braves weren't tired after all. They managed to grab those 3 consecutive games after losing the first two of the 1991 World Series. However, perhaps it was Puckett's late-inning Twins home-run that sent the series to Game 7 that gave the eventual champion Twins the needed 'emergency-fuel' that pumped them to win the final game by a late-inning score of 1-0. Many will remember this series as the one with all those heroics and extra-innings and game-winning excellence (Justice/Puckett) and in-game home-run beauty (Gagne).

GIA: This series shall be remembered as an instant classic and a real 'diamond-in-the-rough' for modern sports.
