War for Roses: The Damsel of Darkness

A bored bureaucrat, working for Interpol in North America, named Amlan Satan wondered how he'd add some non-urban fantasy-spice and daring to his modern life. He'd become frustrated with normal city life and everyday work in the tall building where he worked.

AMLAN SATAN: I think I'm going to drink some heavy wine tonight and watch some Shannara fantasy-war cartoon.

Amlan did as he planned that night, but because he was so inebriated with heavy wine, he had this strange fantasy-war dream inspired by his viewing of that fantastic Shannara war-adventure cartoon. In the dream, he was a daring pioneering wandering swordsman named Analon.

There were evil tidings in the kingdom and land where Amlan found himself during that dream-sleep. The land was ruled by a terrible queen named Malice who reigned in a dark castle called Gadorn. She ordered her horde of drone-soldiers to kidnap the vulnerable princess from the only defiant kingdom in the land. Gadorn was now holding the princess hostage.

The princess was the daughter of an Eastern king named Akbar. She was now the official prisoner of the evil Queen Malice in the dark castle Gadorn. The princess, Esha, wished someone would come to her rescue and restore her to her luxurious palace in her father's care.

QUEEN MALICE: Princess Esha is my prisoner forever!

Esha's sister Kitana went out in a full body battle gear on horseback searching for an army or soldiers or even mercenaries who'd be willing to help her fight Queen Malice's force and rescue Esha from Gadorn. Kitana looked like a full-fledged ancient-world heroine.

Kitana finally found the right legion to fight the dark forces of Queen Malice. She found them in a collective 'encampment' in a dark but candle-lit cave in the darkened land. Inside that cave was none other than Analon (Amlan Satan!) who'd been living in that cave with a host of mercenary swordsmen/swordswomen who'd been hiding from Malice in that cave and waiting for the right incentive to strike and fight for glory.

Amlan Satan, in this rich and fantastic dream-sleep fantasy, was this awesome swordsman Analon. He's hiding in that cave in the darkened land where Kitana finds him, training to fight for glory alongside with a number of other honorable men and women searching for a cool reason to fight. One such fighter is the philosophical warrior named Teddy. Teddy loves the sword and detests hordes or drones who wield ugly broad-swords, only symbols of brutality.

Another wandering philosopher-warrior in that cave Kitana found is the funny but skillful swordsman Jin, who happens to like the idea of rescuing a prototypical 'damsel' from a dark castle.

Another mercenary/swordsman is the Asiatic cool guy Wen who likes to use his sword sparingly, but he's persuaded by Kitana to align a mighty legion to attack the dark castle Gadorn.

Another fighter in this cave is the uncanny Eros who likes to use strange infiltration tactics to claw into the flanks of opposing armies such as preceding an advance with fire-tipped arrows, before he plunges in with sword-and-shield.

Then there's Maxim, a really old-school honorable fighter. He wants to command this attack on Gadorn/Malice as the lead general and plans to take down the center of the force of the opposing army which is most likely led by Queen Malice's red-guard known as the Plague. Maxim is perhaps the best swordsman of this cave-dwelling mercenary 'crew' and Analon is most impressed by his fighting acumen.

Finally, another male soldier in this cave legion is the handsome and young Abimanu, who loves fantasy-stories and war adventures. He now believes rescuing the hostage-damsel Esha, sister of Kitana, is the right mission for this fighting force in the darkened land.

AMLAN SATAN: Kitana didn't know we also had a host of female-warriors hiding in that cave of ours, yearning to fight!

There were a number of women in this cave-legion ready to rescue Princess Esha. These women would be fighting against the male drones of Queen Malice's evil army. These women included Malena, an expert in decapitation, Akasha, master of sword-throwing and jabbing past shields, and Danica, a very cool swordswoman who liked to disorient her enemies whoever they may be by using her sword to gash at their legs before their heads or bodies.

EROS: First, we shoot fire-tipped arrows into the standing army of Malice and then advance during the chaos!

WAR REPORT:

"Kitana didn't join us in the battle, but we rode out on horseback and armored and donned in fine colors and insignias as we advanced on the evil army of Queen Malice outside the dark castle of Gadorn. We first did as archer Eros ordered and fired fire-tipped arrows into the horizon of the standing Malice drones to create chaos and disorientation. Then, we advanced as the sun was setting on the darkened land.

Analon and Teddy proceeded to use circular sword-fighting to cut through the first flanks of Malice's drones. Meanwhile, Maxim and Jin used double-swords to cut diagonal lines of blood into the lines of the Malice drones who're simply standing and jabbing as a wall of death. Then, Wen/Eros/Abimanu commanded the other male members of the legion, including recruited soldiers of Kitana's personal forces from her father's kingdom, to stride into the standing drone wall with swords and shields to just cut into the field with a certain left-right incision style or approach!

That's when the female members of the cave-mercenary legion proceeded to attack as well, after the men weakened the Malice force and created in-roads into spots where fighting was now needed by these fierce females. Malena, Akasha, and Danica used their swords, sometimes two, to decapitate or gash at the Malice drones' legs and then continue to use their swords to disorient shield-stances while stealing shields to throw to the male members of their own cave-legion. It was altogether an incredible fight to rescue the poor damsel Esha from Malice."

After the cave-legion completely cut through the Malice drones with miraculous momentum and diagonals, Teddy managed to infiltrate the castle with Abimanu and rescued the imprisoned damsel Esha from Malice's lair. She was ridden out of the area by the then departing army of Maxim and Analon (Amlan Satan). When Amlan woke from this unbelievable dream, he kissed his wife Esmerelda and told her that she's the only damsel in his normal modern urban life and that from now on he'd search for more coffee-method approaches to adventure and travel with his darling in his arms.

Amlan and Esmerelda had two beloved kids, and they bought them fantasy-war video-games so they'd exorcise their 'other-worldly' daydreams about courage and think about their normal-world obligations to civilization.
