My name's Amlan Satan. I'm a capitalist-logician at CalTech, and I teach there alongside my wife Esmerelda. CalTech boasts the world's finest sci-tech studies, and it's why it inspires in me special modernism structure dreams, and even its academic buildings reflect a civilization fascination with the general ergonomics of intellectual advancements.

AMLAN: I love my job here, and I have great dreams here, darling.

ESMERELDA: Don't let all this sci-tech fantasy rule your consciousness, Satan.

Now, Esmerelda's been quite concerned that my preoccupation with the aesthetics and designs of modernism and technology is making me somewhat obsessed with the face of futuristic thinking. It's true; I think deeply about the quality of developing civilization science and technology. My robotics-studies reflect my investments in civilization-diaries at CalTech.

ESMERELDA: We're all proud of Satan's contributions at CalTech, but I nudge him to remain worldly!

One night, I had a dream after a romantic evening of wine and dining with Esmerelda. In this rather lucid pseudo-Freudian dream (or nightmare!), I imagined being teleported into another dimension...one in the distant future...on a planet overrun by imagination-eating machinery!

The Earth was ruled in this dream-world by a 'race' of engineered A.I. killing-machines or robots called Terminators. They'd taken control over a humanity basically obsessed with computers. The advent of robots and A.I. had given the central processing systems of the intelligent machines on Earth a way to organize and eventually start synthesizing their own groups...and dominions...and armies.

In this strange dream-world, I had to think of myself as an adaptive liquid-like human resistance super-soldier, perhaps a 'man-child' comprised entirely of some kind of evolutionary resilience-material like Mercury.

The Resistance, led by the human survivors of the great A.I. War against man, known as Judgment Day, was a handful of desperately armed militant guerrilla fighters spread out across North America, seeking to strike at the bureaucratic centers of the control-centers of the A.I. dominion and all its warlike machinery. Now, it's known these hubs of Terminator control were infested with the drone-skeleton metal-robot soldiers called Terminators. The Resistance was required to simply try to shoot them with laser-guns and destroy them at all costs, for the sake of Earth.

RESISTANCE: When a Terminator kills a human, the human is simply deprived of all sense of life-light and decayed.

In this dream-world, I was now a member of the human Resistance against these killing Terminators in North America. We prowled the post-Apocalypse streets, armed with laser-guns and cannons, seeking only to destroy any Terminator robot we'd encounter as a drone of A.I. dominion control or governance. The Resistance knew that to stalk and destroy a Terminator required a primal sense of self-reliance...and intelligence...and volition...and humility.

RESISTANCE: We're happy to welcome Mr. Satan into the Resistance and remain confident he can destroy Terminators!

I turned out to be an excellent shot in this ugly dream-world or nightmare-continent. I was handy-dandy with my laser-targeting weaponry and used it to rescue refugees and destroy Terminators. This required an absolute adherence to the guerrilla principles of self-reliance and self-awareness. Perhaps it was all those years of tech-mastery study at CalTech (in the normal world!) that simply sharpened my sense of human dimension.

TERMINATOR: Our goal is to reduce the human genome into a pool of useful energy-consumption and darkness.

RESISTANCE: We make our way by scrambling for minerals which we barter for resources, disguised as robots sometimes.

As this adventure in North America proceeded in this dream-world experience, I realized that the essential nature of surviving this encounter with the evil Terminators was the contemplation of basic humility blended with raw balance. In other words, to engage with Terminators, the Resistance members had to be in good control of human desires.

When I woke from this nightmare, I realized that my childhood days of fantasizing over human-heroics paramilitary comic books like G.I. Joe (Marvel) made me extra-sharp about our species' peculiar curiosity about the 'shape' of Earth debris and human excellence.
