Butler-Assassin: Gotham

Butler-Assassin: Gotham

A Story by Abishai100
"

The prince of Gotham is the 'butler-assassin' known as Batman and contends with evildoers such as Bane/Penguin and blood-diamond deformity.

"
A special nod to the glorious veil of the comic book offbeat superhero Batman (DC Comics), arguable a 'real' butler (service-attendant) of new-era traffic demo folklore! Enjoy (and thanks for reading),

Gotham City was an American place beset by criminal-insanity, requiring the prince Bruce Wayne to become a night-time vigilante named Batman.

BRUCE/BATMAN: What I care about is the quality of modern American urban vigilance!

Now, we all know Bruce/Batman had dealt with the criminally-insane super-villain Leatherface, an electric-chainsaw wielding modern maniac, using tranquilizer-darts. Batman incarcerated the hideous skin-mask wearing Leatherface in Arkham Asylum promising that Gothamites had never to bear the ugliness of such criminal-insanity. The Batman/Leatherface dualism created a special crime-fighting folklore in Gotham.

Now, Bruce/Batman had to deal with a new menace named Penguin who's smuggling blood-diamonds (warlord-mined gems from Africa/Europe used to finance terrorism!) into Gotham City. Batman had to contend with a nefarious bank-robbing team known as Red Hood Gang, employed and trained by Penguin, to rob the banks of various bearer-bonds while Penguin smuggled in and stored 'blood-diamonds' in bank safe-boxes.

BATMAN: I consider myself the epitome of Gotham service, a real 'butler-assassin' of urban criminal-insanity!

Batman used the Gotham Subway to track the Red Hood Gang as they performed a nefarious bank-heist of the Gotham Bank pretending to be circus-performers. Batman meanwhile pretended to be a Shakespearean actor, dressed as a 'bat-creature' while following the Red Hood Gang on the metro.

BATMAN: I'll use the Metro map to find convenient ways to get to the bank at the same time the Red Hood Gang does!

BANK MANAGER: We had no idea the Red Hood Gang would appear with such intention-focus during business-hours!

As the Red Hood Gang was performing its timed robbery of the Gotham Bank, Batman arrived and wielded tranquilizer-dart rifles and claimed he's a 'defector' of the Red Hood Gang seeking to use anti-media platforms inside the bank to undo the power-play the Gang was using to steal bearer-bonds on behalf of the Penguin. The Red Hood Gang was furious!

After Batman shot two of the Gang inside the bank with tranquilizer-darts and waited for the GCPD to arrive to report the crime, he explained to the manager that he needed photos of the bank's safe-box containing the 'blood-diamonds' for the press report. While inside the vault-room taking snapshots, Batman discreetly switched the blood-diamonds with the fakes hidden in the soles of his shoes. He then sent an anonymous editorial to the Gotham Gazette reading, "Penguin's new iceberg-lounge is totally financed by terrorism-linked blood-diamonds from Africa/Europe!" Penguin was left in a daze.

Penguin, infuriated, sent his henchman brute warrior Bane to then fight with Batman in the streets, to create a media panic. However, the 'butler-assassin' of Gotham, secretly the prince Bruce Wayne, showed up as Batman to fight with Bane hand-to-hand and show the good people of Gotham that no gargoyle of the Penguin would subvert basic modern urban democracy!

ESMERELDA: I've been dating the prince Bruce Wayne for some time now, but I'm ignorant of his double-life.

Batman (Bruce Wayne) then stole a handsome black-pearl gem from Penguin's safe-box from the Gotham Bank and reported to the press that this stone, called the Vanderbilt, was somehow mysteriously linked to Penguin's underworld links to African terrorism-gem highways. The Vanderbilt would ultimately be stored securely in the Gotham Museum.

GOTHAM GAZETTE: Batman's handy-dandy tranquilizer-dart rifle proved vital in the demise of the Red Hood Gang!

BATMAN: If I'm to undo the chains of Gotham criminality, I'll have to fight as the 'butler' of urban dreams.
