Amlan and Elka married while working undercover for anti-terrorism blood-diamond work in Africa/Europe. However, when they left that work and became co-designers together in the fashion-world in the Netherlands, they suddenly became competitors...which drove the spike in their relationship.

Amlan went the way of neo-classical modern, taking inspiration from the history of designs espoused by Apple. He advocated the aesthetics of naturalism combined with ergonomics color.

AMLAN: I take my inspiration from history through portrait-artworks depicting Joan of Arc as a figurine of color!

Blood-diamond work had brought this unusual couple (Amlan/Elka) together, but the fashion world drove them apart!

Amlan opened a very luxurious Eastern fashions saree-store in Amsterdam, selling multi-color classic-cut Indian sarees and showcasing the designs in Euro-magazine on highly-gifted recruited models like Asha Shah.

His multicolor approach to saree-design gained international acclaim, and he won multiple awards in Europe.

AMLAN: I put all my soul into my saree-designs.

Meanwhile, his estranged ex-wife Elka began making futuristic clothing/lines with tin-cuts.

ELKA: I take my inspiration from International Business Machines!

AMLAN: You don't think you'll win, do you?
ELKA: Things change...

Amlan, a very avid-fan of comic book art, decided to invest in the Marvel antiheroine Wolfsbane, which drove Elka mad!

"I won't let that b***h track my artistic progress/evolution, and I'm moving to a mansion in Rhode Island."
