==== Alien video-games had become popular on Earth, and a CalTech scientist was about to live on a Mars space-station and really immerse himself into this type of futuristic imagination. ![]() The CalTech space-scientist, Amlan Satan, is part of a new outer-Mars atmosphere hovering mission called Andromeda Terrace, sent to just hang in space and live in a station for life while measuring signs of passing microbial viruses or electric-storms, to send Earth reports about universal turbulence. Satan is considered America's finest space-nerd working at CalTech. ![]() SATAN: On Earth, there's already futuristic mall robot-guards who monitor for vandalism/theft. ![]() The Andromeda Terrace mission is ambitious, but the space-station is quite and proportionally impressive, and the human space-crew is composed mostly of Americans, such as Amlan Satan. The humans are all enthusiastic about maintenance of life/hygiene in Mars atmosphere. ![]() There's regular weekend night-council meetings/gatherings to evaluate the development of society-consciousness on the Mars hovering space-station Andromeda Terrace. Satan never attends these meetings, and they're usually vanguarded by the young adults of the human space crew, interested in making space-life more sexy and cool. ![]() However, despite all this working functionalism on Andromeda Terrace, Satan (Amlan) receives office-reports of signs of a great metaphysical or electromagnetic disturbance. He has to personally check all the drop-escape pods of the space-station, making sure there's no sign of a creeping invading/marauding alien or creature. ![]() Inside the space-station, there's plenty of educational and recreational activities/facilities, including a laser-planetarium! ![]() Meanwhile, the kids/youngsters have been walking on the surface of the Andromeda Terrace in premade space-armor designed to make them escape gravity force and render them fairies in ether. All seems well and dandy more or less. ![]() SATAN: Our radar-machines still pick up strange signs of energy and psychic turbulence, and we can't pinpoint causality! ![]() Amlan remembers days on Earth watching thrilling and sensual sci-fi programs on American-TV featuring great celebrities offering views on negotiating danger with sci-curiosity on foreign planets, broadcast on major networks including the Commercial Broadcasting Satellite (CBS)! ![]() However, Amlan has reason to feel paranoid. The signs he's detected about danger/turbulence on Andromeda Terrace regard a real Martian invasion, carried out by a cybernetic species called the Horde, which seeks to turn the American space-mission into a slave-invasion. ![]() Satan and others of the crew arm themselves with laser-guns and helmets and battle the invading Horde, and while many are murdered by the invading cyber-aliens' flames, including Amlan's girlfriend Jennifer, many manage to endure/survive. ![]() SATAN: What do you want on Andromeda Terrace. HORDE: To redesign your sense of sovereignty. SATAN: That's inconceivable! HORDE: We have appropriate imagination-reorientation tech. SATAN: Sounds expensive...and diagonal. ![]() The 'President' of the Martian Horde is a brainy wonder-boy named Felix who believes anyone daring to step into Mars atmosphere is warranted to become a puppet and witness of a wondrous new futuristic vision of complete subjugation, and while Felix seems brilliant and dark, Amlan Satan defies him with a simple question, "Do you dare to categorize human depression?" ![]() Will Andromeda Terrace ('AT') survive? Will CBS create a vitality-oriented AT-themed American-TV program if it does? Will the Horde and its eerie leader (Felix) negotiate a way to coexist in Mars atmosphere?
