A tale of two peoples with differing languages for coexistence, in a time of great globalization promises...and frailty!

One last 9/11 anniversary-year commemorative vignette about blood-diamond dangers, inter-religious diplomacy, and modern United Kingdom dreams. Enjoy (inspired by Patriot Games)!

Northern Ireland is partitioned away from Ireland after independence in the 20th Century because of the British-Protestant majority population living there as descendants of generations of English colonial settlers, making the Irish-Catholic population there a minority. The Irish Catholics are different from the British Protestants in many vital ways, making like uncomfortable, adding to the social angst surrounding socioeconomic disparities and dissatisfying United Kingdom Parliament policies which are viewed as catalysts of poverty/unemployment.

Catholicism and Protestantism have differed and diverted in ways throughout world history, but in Belfast (Northern Ireland), this 'schism' based on socioeconomic disparities and sociocultural differences in uncomfortably shared space makes the Irish-Catholic minority feel like they're still a 'colony' of the old British Empire, adding fuel to the troubling notion that Catholicism-Protestantism is still divided in Western civilization in unholy ways as we approach the 20th-anniversary year-date of 9/11, when anti-globalization terrorists destroyed the commerce-symbolic World Trade Center in NYC.

Amlan Satan is an expert blood-diamond infiltration-guerilla agent with Interpol-relations working in the modern United Kingdom, intervening in conflict-gem smuggling from Africa linked to underworld crime-resourcing. Now, blood-diamond financed underworld crime in already-challenged Northern Ireland is adding fuel to the fire that inter-religious schisms between the Irish-Catholic minority and British-Protestant majority populations (separated by socioeconomic conditions) are suddenly linked to the 'allure' of blood-money and pirate investments by both crime-bosses and corrupt aristocracy. How will this affect commerce/capitalism in Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom, Dr. Amlan Satan wonders, as he designs special East-West fashion initiatives/programs between Dublin-Belfast to create more fashion-world and commercial market media programs such as Saree Diary (Belfast-TV).

DR. SATAN: Criminals are sourced with blood-diamonds; rogue-guerrillas and retaliatory Protestant 'gangs' arm with invention.

The inter-religious problems in Northern Ireland date back to the early years of Irish resistance to British rule, when British government outfitted special 'attack-force' units on streets called 'Black-and-Tans' (sometimes rough Protestant volunteers or English WWI veterans with a boredom of peace) who're simply eager to destroy any Irish Republican Army (IRA) uprising with brute-force and unusual occupation posture. This is destroying the more optimistic notion that Catholicism and Protestantism are otherwise compatible groups within the world Christian community!

SINN FEIN: As long as the Irish-Catholic minority in Northern Ireland suffer poverty/unemployment, they'll resist British policy.

UK MAGAZINE: While there may be few ways to improve socioeconomic outlooks in Belfast, the monarchy insists it's territory.

BELFAST GAZETTE: Will we see continued forms of Irish-Catholic culture/life expression in our theaters and stages?

DR. SATAN: Images of armed resistance to British rule/presence in Protestant-dominated Belfast represent modern hellfire.

This is why there's so much media now regarding the long history of 'troubles' between Protestants and Catholics in the United Kingdom (Northern Ireland), and it's inspired even Hollywood (USA) to make special star-studded cinema featuring iconic celebrities (e.g., Brad Pitt, Daniel-Day Lewis).

UK MAGAZINE: We don't want negative attention to Protestant-Catholic problems in this 20th-anniversary year of 9/11.

DR. SATAN: Will the British Parliament address commerce-bridges between Dublin-Ireland catering to inter-religious peace?

Satan himself is half-Algerian and half-Indian and has family-ties to the Indian/Algerian resistance against British/French colonial rule and finds intriguing aesthetics parallels between the Irish problematic story and the Indian/Algerian ones. He uses this strange historianship design-parallel to fashion modern democratic ideas regarding the conversations surrounding modern commerce-driven inter-religious coexistence!

DR. SATAN: Bloody Sunday was a reminder that the Irish and British differ as do Catholics and Protestants, and it's violent.

Dr. Satan tells his friend in Sinn Fein that a peculiar aspect of this 'unholy war' in the United Kingdom seems to be the face of language-arts itself. It's the people on the streets, Catholics and Protestants, who're engaged in this daily battle. Young men frustrated by unemployment and Protestant aristocrats uneasy with Irish angst are coexisting in unnatural ways with little socioeconomic spotlight offered by the world media regarding this inter-religious dilemma in Western civilization, even in this 20th-anniversary year of 9/11. Does this scenario, Satan asks his Sinn Fein friend, suggest a 'deformed' interaction between two very different cultures in modern times and hence a 'deformed' sense of 'language' or 'grammar' between two human societies?

DR. SATAN: The Irish language is much more fluid and lyrical, and the English prose more formal and elegant; difference like this is unfortunately/sadly breeding an eerie form of modern Belfast street cynicism pronounced by images of uniformed police-military (Protestants) and masked radical guerrillas (Catholics).

BELFAST GAZETTE: The Irish-Catholics really do 'speak' differently than the British-Protestants...and fight differently!

DR. SATAN: I share online a special work by a modern writer regarding the rise of the 'Black-and-Tans' as modern slang.

UK MAGAZINE: Dr. Satan's ideas are unusual, and he draws inspiration from female involvement he's familiar with in Algeria/India from personal family-relations (e.g., Aruna Asaf Ali); this can ironically make for candid democratic argumentations about socialized rhetoric.

BELFAST MAGAZINE: If a language-themed Dublin-Belfast commerce bridge yields vital peace, Satan's right about dancing!

DR. SATAN: There's no hellish reason on Earth to doubt that commerce/fashion will deter a yearning for inter-religious life.

Dr. Satan and a British Parliamentary ex-general/diplomat offer a special private online media-interview during which they share their joint views on what makes Irish and British people so different and more importantly so divided in the modern United Kingdom (Northern Ireland).

PARLIAMENT DIPLOMAT (Dewey): British folks are more drawn to governance as theory.
DR. SATAN: Irish people, like Algerians/Indians, are tempted by images of mass-reform!
DEWEY: This is a condition of imposed customs defied by folk superstitions.
SATAN: Can there be commercial bridges between peoples separated by language-arts?
DEWEY: Is there really a substantive way to formulate politics in terms of fashion?
SATAN: It does seem that a Dublin-Belfast commerce bridge can create a 'veil' for dancing!
DEWEY: Irish-Catholic minorities don't continuously seek employment policy reforms.
SATAN: This can be a fault within the leadership of Sinn Fein failing to use media to address folk chatter!
DEWEY: Will Parliament deal with Protestant-Catholic coexistence/shared interests in modern consumerism?
SATAN: There' no reason to doubt that youth-television in Belfast can cater to a universal interest in valor.
DEWEY: Is capitalism really valor these days?
SATAN: Commerce can indeed defy the horrifying notion that violence grows naturally out of coexistence.
DEWEY: Perhaps we need some good-old-fashioned United Kingdom storytelling.
SATAN: We need the support of American media.

Power is like being a lady... if you have to tell people you are, you aren't (Margaret Thatcher).
