The iconic Catholic university is where two super-heroes are working on a sectarianism-message crime in this 20th-anniversary commemoration year of 9/11.

Notre Dame is a respected/iconic American Catholic university and home to the iconic Fightin' Irish college-football team which boasts a longtime broadcasting relationship with NBC.

The two superheroes Green Lantern Hal and Eliza work there as a brother-sister police-team, undercover as normal human beings but with their own magical psychic powers used to detect and unravel evil in modern America, in this 20th-anniversary year of 9/11.

Hal and Eliza take the names Amlan and Esha at Notre Dame and become employed as campus police, detectives for any sudden story/development regarding serious crimes threatening traffic/life at the iconic Catholic university which boasts a multicultural student-body with special Irish spirit. Hal (Amlan) and Eliza (Esha) are now disguised as Algerian-American US citizens and Notre Dame cops!

HAL/AMLAN: In this 20th-anniversary year of 9/11, we want Fightin-Irish games to be safe!
ELIZA/ESHA: Yeah, we don't want images of fans looking up at the sky at falling missiles or drugs.

Now, Ireland and Northern Ireland had endured historic and symbolic tribulations, both under British-Protestant colonialism eras and things like the Potato Famine and Belfast socioeconomic hurdles creating real poverty in the streets and producing news-images of the challenges of humanity even in modern (20th Century) Europe. This was the sort of Irish sentimentalism regularly honored at a school such as Notre Dame.

AMLAN (Hal Jordan): This upcoming opera at Notre Dame will see great beautiful circus-singers from Belfast.

ESHA (Eliza Jordan/Green Lantern): Apparently, they're gorgeous Irish-Catholic women.

Hal/Amlan may've been a Green Lantern superhuman with psychic abilities but had a special 'weakness' for women, which he was about to indulge in when the Irish-Catholic Belfast circus-opera team arrived at Notre Dame for Halloween for a special theater-performance in this 20th-anniversary year of 9/11. Hal/Amlan began dating some of these circus-women who're simply hypnotizing.

HAL/AMLAN: Sometimes, I feel doubtful; I wonder if I'm drawing to these Belfast-beauties because of the 'Troubles' in UK.

ESHA: Maybe my brother (Green Lantern) should actually consider marrying one of these 'Belfast beauties' of sentiment.

Hal (Amlan) gave one of these circus-girlfriends from economically-challenged Belfast a pair of incredibly beautiful Indian-Irish design blended jewelry pieces, which she really loved. He wondered if this was the time when a disguised superhero could ironically be wed...to a Northern Ireland fairy!

AMLAN: We've got to keep our eyes on our duty --- to protect Notre Dame.

ESHA: I thought you'd forgot your psyche-lessons on the 'Troubles' and Northern Ireland hellmouths, brother.

Such a hellmouth arose when one of these Belfast 'beauties' Hal/Amlan fell for was murdered. Her throat was slit and a note was left next to her sad dead body which read, "Don't help the Irish, for their luck ain't all that elegiac but rather a British nightmare, even for us anti-immigration 'warriors' in North America!" This was obviously a hate-crime, and the perpetrator was citing the guerrilla-violence between the IRA and UVF in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) created by poverty-frustrations and political dissatisfactions. Sectarian murders wasn't something Notre Dame needed in this 20th-anniversary year of 9/11.

HAL (Amlan): The killer left behind a Jack-of-Diamonds call-card with a message of omens.

ELIZA (Esha): I think this sectarianism messenger murderer on campus wants us to think America is damned.

Will the Green Lanterns solve this Fightin' Irish crime-story? Will the uncover the ugly mind of this sectarianism hate-killer at Notre Dame who seems to want to 'scar' this 20th-anniversary year of 9/11? Will they uncover some ugly truth regarding the nature of perfect murder or imperfect humanity, as reflected in the real traffic-violence and hellfire in modern Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) where Catholics-Protestants vie for the real attainment of beautiful dollars?
