A democracy-vignette in honor of this 2oth-anniversary of 9/11, inspired by the Americana-destiny cartoon It's the Great Pumpkin, Luke (Peanuts) and Patriots Day. Hope you like it (and Happy Halloween!),

The modern world was characterized by great socialization-matrix totems/diadems like airline companies fostering a globalism regarding capitalism/commerce, and this facilitated media-marketing of culture and lifestyle in the great United States and all of Western civilization arguably!

Boston, Massachusetts (USA) was an idyllic Western place of great pluralism traffic and commerce and would be seen through the lens of democratic culture at sunset. Boston was the home of the Boston University Eagles college-football team and its great cheerleaders/fans/students.

A young man of Algerian-American ethnicity named Luke was a professor and assistant-coach of the Eagles (BU) and created a media-mosaic about the culture-presentations regarding modern lifestyle/capitalism culture and sportsmanship fostering a new era democratic rhetoric regarding pluralism and American identity.

Luke was a scholar of Northern Ireland (UK) politics and co-captain of the blood-diamond piracy-infiltration research group (with Interpol-relations) known as the 'Foreign Irish Republican Army' (F-IRA) and used BU as a base-or-hub for his American harvest-season media-cyber forum talks about the role Irish-Catholics played in the United States in the championing of political awareness of the poverty-conditions of Belfast (Northern Ireland).

LUKE: I'd like to make Boston a site of great Halloween/Harvest-season time 'pumpkin-pageantry' in the tradition of Peanuts.

Luke organized special community groups and education clubs linked to BU in Boston which entertained various inter-generation social activities that Halloween season in the great US city, such as backyard football and lemonade-stands for the homeless.

LUKE: It's the great pumpkin, folks; we can make Boston and its Boston University bases of great Western democratic media!

Luke was a bit of a 'connoisseur' of American culture/consumerism and regularly served as a patron-customer of Boston Market, an iconic capitalism-symbolic food-service convenience-eatery ('fast-food') in Western civilization. This Halloween, Boston Market would represent the 'great pumpkin' for BU Luke and Boston's investments in harvest-season media like multiculturalism autumn-season consumerism media-ads (e.g., inter-racial eateries, inter-racial Halloween).

Luke's BU associate Ron was a soapdish media-figure and helped him market media-ads for the Friends of Humanity (FOH) program designed to encourage world-political awareness of Western civilization troubles like sectarian violence in Belfast created by socioeconomic disparities in the UK.

Luke paraded multiple Boston banks costumed as a 'Peanuts-maudlin' and claiming he was to 'lift' piracy blood-diamonds (conflict-zone gems mined from Africa by warlords used to finance crime-syndication around the globe!) for media presentations about the circulation of progressive economics-reform talks in places like the United States and the United Kingdom.

Luke 'adopted' the great Apple market-center/building in Boston for this special symbolic Halloweentime-season in the great US city. This Apple building resembled something like a giant see-thru glass Swatch-watch and reflected a capitalism understanding of pluralism aesthetics regarding dollar-dogma.

The Apple building on Boylston in Boston (USA) was near a nice residential area where both Luke and his BU-associate Ron lived and entertained faculty and FOH Halloween-season gatherings, meetings, and social parties hyping the cultural value of Peanuts comics, Western civilizations sectarian trouble awareness (i.e., Belfast), and of course, American fortune.

BOSTON POLICE: We're tracking a bank-robbery team known as 'Red hood' responsible for various blood-diamond traffic!

RED HOOD: We're going to destroy Halloween time!

Fortunately, Luke and Ron and their FOH pals costumed up and walked through the Boston residential streets for trick-'or-treatin' during Halloween and carried special Northern Ireland banner-posters about the value of decrying the precedence of blood-diamond piracy in capitalism-challenged Western civilization.

Luke's girlfriend Shelbye, an poly-sci professor at BU, wanted to help FOH created a website to chart developments between Catholics-Protestants in the United Kingdom and linked all the festivities at BU to UK Parliament talks with Gerry Adams.

Ron's daughter Catherine was meanwhile organizing a special charity-drive by telephone for BU community members designed to promote awareness of poverty and crime-conditions in troubled Northern Ireland (United Kingdom). It was Halloween and the time of the 'great pumpkin' after all, Catherine.

CATHERINE: We're sending buses of school-kids to pumpkin-patches right outside Boston for a special fanzine-feature!

RON: The hope is all this Halloween-media in Boston will promote multicultural interest in sectarian troubles in the West.

LUKE: One of the advantages of being a Boston University 'intelligentsia' is that if affords access to history-images of reform.

SCHOOL-STUDENT: The Friends of Humanity have fun in Boston Halloween and we watch Peanuts; we love Charlie Brown.

LUKE: This is a time of unprecedented media opportunities for pluralism-consumer marketing of inter-cultural aesthetics marketing of great traffic-centric seasonal colors and fashions, all geared towards making groups like F-IRA and FOH symbols, linked to great Western bodies like BU, reflections of a Western civilization pageantry regarding the 'great pumpkins' of shared democratic profits. It's the 'great pumpkin' in Boston (and the world now!), folks.
