Every night, the book-store manager noticed Amlan taking and scanning books from the store shelves and sometimes making notes at desks with his set of handy-dandy color-pencils. ![]() AMLAN: The book store is quite nice and offers just about every kind of subject-reading you'd connect to a place like Boston! ![]() It was one particular work that was of particular research-interest to Amlan, and he noted that it'd created special scopes-scales on political paradigm parallels in economics-conditions reform creative-thinking between two very different nations (East/West) regarding anticolonial governance concentrations! The book was written by a prominent Irishman, and Amlan realized he'd been discovering the 'simple joys' of finding intellectual daybreak in North America while simply being a 'Bartleby' of literary dollars. ![]() AMLAN: I started making more and more political notes and cartoon-imagery with my color-pencils and thought Belfast! ![]() What would be the special fate of this unusual and tedious American bureaucrat and underground laborer, Amlan who lived in Boston and took advantage of its city lights? Would he find the special 'political illumination' that the special book-store offered him after-hours following work-days? Would he discover the magic of Boston was in the 'heartbeat' of its people-centric dowries? Was this a simple doctor? ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2021 Abishai100 |
