Detroit was preparing for a symbolic holiday season in 2021 and wanted to be sure this 20th-anniversary year of 9/11 was a good one for the city which saw great sports and cars in its fabled US history!

A young Catholic couple from the UK, Northern Ireland, had recently moved to Detroit (USA) and was planning a nice and sane holiday-season in 2021 and were fans of the Lions football team and wanted their new Detroit home to reflect the festive 'magic' of the city in America.

AMLAN: Life in Belfast was hell, and we want a more sane/sanitary life in Detroit!
SHELLEY: We're excited for the Lions football season and a Christmas tree with gifts.

The Coronavirus precautionary mentality in the USA was still in-effect, and people were wearing protective masks/gloves to public places/spaces and saw employees/personnel in buildings/offices doing likewise, and this was no different in Detroit, so this young Lions-fan Belfast couple (Amlan/Shelley) decided to adorn their new Detroit condo with mineral-fortune charms of an Obsidian value, to feel more close to organic nature in this Coronavirus era on Earth!

AMLAN: We used to regular this romantic eatery in Belfast while we'd lived there.

SHELLEY: Right; Amlan worked as a government information analyst and we wanted space-time to chill!

Now, Amlan/Shelley are psyched for the upcoming Detroit Lions football season and plan to attend the Thanksgiving game against rival Chicago Bears at Ford Field (USA)!

AMLAN: I bought a new eco-friendly Ford Escape for my beautiful wife Shelley in Detroit (USA).

SHELLEY: The Thanksgiving Lions-Bears game will generate tons of media and marketing glitter for TV audiences.

Why wouldn't you want to move to awesome Detroit after enduring forms of 'darkness' in troubled Northern Ireland. Well, Amlan/Shelley are now seeking a life of fanfare and sanity in good old Detroit, hoping the Thanksgiving Lions-Bears football game attendance will re-present their new 'mission' seek out energy of dance.

The sports-broadcasters are likewise hoping for a great season of safe/secure American football for TV audiences, especially for this symbolic 20th-anniversary year of 9/11.

AMLAN: It's no shock really when you see all these new 'brands' of American fortune after TV-viewing in troubled Belfast.

SHELLEY: I hope Amlan surprises me with some magical Thanksgiving jewelry in Detroit this season to warm our move.

Will the Lions offer Amlan/Shelley the sort of 'child-like' innocence they seek/need after moving from Northern Ireland to the United States? Hopefully, kids in Detroit will be playing/daydreaming in peace in this 20th-anniversary year of 9/11, a certain 'nod' to the wonders of consumerism...and toys.
