Magneto/Phoenix

Eric and Jean had become great friends while working alongside a series of heroes in modern civilization known as the X-Men and had developed their uncanny telekinetic/electromagnetic powers to serve humanity as crusaders of the great Republican vision. Eric had been the uncanny magnetism-mutant transformation field-superman known as Magneto, and Jean was now the mental-wave enhanced super-vision heroine known as Phoenix. Magneto/Phoenix comprised a special duet or 'axis' of modern vigilance in civilization and had become iconic in the defiance of evil, crime, anarchy, super-terrorism, and general fear. They'd developed their sense of heroics and democracy-defense alongside the valiant X-Men but had become something of a 'separate pair' in their use of powers to advance ideas about pure idealism on their own, without the complementation of other beings of individuals and groups.

Magneto/Phoenix were attacking a super-terrorist underwater fortress called Cobra in which several blueprints for chemical warfare for modern Armageddon were being developed/enhanced my maniacal ego-minds set on destroying the fabric of civilization sanity. Magneto and Phoenix knew they'd use their powers of magnetism and mental-wave manipulation to tear through the walls of the Cobra underwater fortress and mold the layers of the structure to crush all chemical weapons missiles/warheads without inciting spontaneous particle/chemical/element entropy! They're considered the greatest 'duet' or 'axis' in anti-terrorism the world had known, and for their unusual powers/acumen, they'd been hailed as a special force for defense of democracy. It took them about 1 month to dismantle the Cobra underwater fortress and all its psyche-energies for good. They were awarded the special Medallion by the Pentagon and the Hexagon!

PHEONIX: You're my driver, Eric!

This was an 'uncanny' duet and blossomed into a healthy romance of emotional and psychic proportions. What made it special was that Magneto/Phoenix shared a proportional love of designed Republican rhetoric and public empathy! They'd become special messengers of the potential for love and peace in a planet beset by the mental sinister schemes of ultimate doom. Magneto/Phoenix were hailed in the iconic Post as the ultimate duet of danger-removal. In fact, the American President declared them to be the national heroes of infinite dawn. Whatever their challenges might incur/spew, these two uncanny superhumans of psyche-prowess wanted to transplant capitalism-erosion into a super-structure of everlasting dreams. Hopefully, their own private/social courtship would equally blossom into a 'thing' of complete...design.
