The two GI Joe paramilitary Western-American crusader-agents Duke/Snake-Eyes discovered a strange time-portal through which they crossed to land in Ancient Egypt after already being canonized in underground-lore oriented American military-intelligence comics in the United States (Earth).

DUKE: Seems we've landed in the great courts of the Egyptian pharaohs, the kind you read in books, but this time-one's evil.

SNAKE: Yeah...this 'Ra' sure has a real empire-face the kind you only intimated was personalized history-class translation.

DUKE: It's easy to 'paint' these guys in hindsight as 'ominous' or imposing, but we should deal with his court to find allies!

SNAKE: Yeah...maybe he's got a 'damsel' hiding in one of his mighty palace-chambers, requiring rescue and heroics-chance.

DUKE: That's the formula, so let's make like we're the 'gurus' of modern-Earth Egyptology kingdom iconography/psychology!

SNAKE: When in Egypt...look for the lessons learned, eh?

DUKE: Always...

The next month, during their steady undercover dismantling of the Egyptian Pharaoh Ra's evil mystique during this time-portal crossover journey, Duke/Snake-Eyes did indeed find that 'court-kingdom' ally in the Pharaoh domain they intimated must 'exist' as a diplomatic messenger of what made engagement(s) with this ancient empire ruler defiance of overpowering proportions something like a 'James Bond' adventure of dominion infiltration chess and romance. The ally they found was a braided Egyptian fair-skinned teenage girl named Anu who had a special silky-dress doll made in her image/effigy by the Pharaoh's craftsmen. Duke/Snake-Eyes learned Anu was a woman trapped as an artist inside the Pharaoh Ra palace/dominion and wanted to escape and integrate herself into the surrounding slave-village(s) as a simple priestess!

PHARAOH RA: It seems this 'device' you've built for my psyche-entertainment/daydreams called 'Rube-Goldberg' satisfies!

DUKE/SNAKE: Of course, Ra; in fact, you admire/dream with this chain-reaction/causality 'toy' and pay us by gifting Anu.

PHARAOH RA: This toy-device is simply marvelous/child-like and gorgeous; I agree to 'gift' your friend Anu; she's free/yours!

DUKE/SNAKE: Thanks great Ra; we'll be 'certain' to think how this brain-achievement for Egypt honors your chess for Anu.

PHARAOH RA: You've warranted a stalemate-sovereignty compact regarding Anu's destiny with this device-toy gift to me!

DUKE/SNAKE: Excellence, Ra; perhaps this 'stalemate' in think-tank contracts/accords is a premonition for future academics.

PHARAOH RA: Yes...perhaps this serves as time-link premonition for architecture/chess oriented dominion expressions!

DUKE/SNAKE: We've achieved a 'wrought' respect from the dreams/imaginations of science-court(s) inventions/education.

PHARAOH RA: It takes 'dashing' ingenuity to impress me enough to warrant an escape-clause grant/contract, Duke/Snake.

DUKE/SNAKE: That's perfect, Ra; we'll escort the 'damsel' Anu with this great Empire-deed of ingenuity/acknowledgement!

When Duke and Snake-Eyes crossed through the time-portal, having delivered the damsel-artist Anu hidden/veiled into the surrounding and now handsomely more democratically-defiant slave-village(s) outside Ra's evil empire, they quickly/wisely reintegrated themselves into the modern Earth-capitalism/media world of cinematic species/evolution themed comics/arts/story so as to feel like they'd been safely 'disattached' from the confine(s) of Empire-labyrinth exposition.

DUKE: Did you hear that Esquire/Bazaar both hope and requested we create a double-agent 'quiche-club' for New England?
SNAKE-EYES: Sounds very modern and charmed; a quiche-cyber society by the GI-Joe super-fellows signals good media-chess.

DUKE: Why is modern democratic securities media-marketing so much more 'fine' than Empire shadows oriented psyche?

SNAKE-EYES: Well...I'd argue for us that it's the quality of GI-Joe oriented democratic/lifestyle infused chess-inclusivity.

DUKE: Ours is the modern 'empire' of great individualism and self-determined equal-exchange rationalism, isn't it, Snake?

SNAKE-EYES: America is the most human-friendly empire anywhere in the universe, Duke!

DUKE: Let's hope Anu had discovered the same parallel(s) in living society movement that we hoped she'd find for identity.

SNAKE-EYES: There's always 'angels in the outfield(s)' of power-pyramids, aren't there Duke?

DUKE: Yeah...and it's why this new 'quiche cyber club' requisition seems the 'dial-tone' for American Empire social academics!
