Dame-Red: Chicago {Zion}A Story by Abishai100Narrated 'claim' of a Chicago-man whose 'mystical' encounter with a 'prophetic' lady-in-red may draw out of him some 'human race' mystery.
A cool street-diorama adaptation of the iconic romance-comedy The Woman in Red (Gene Wilder), featuring 'myself' for Freudian-Ego study (ha). Hope you like,

==== I lived in Chicago and studied blood-diamond lore seeping into North America while living off my princely-inherited fortunes as an Algerian-American immigrant and president of the Porcellian chess-society (cyber) and it was a snowy Christmas season when I realized my life was changing when I encountered a 'vision' of capitalism-escapism, a prophetic lady-in-red. I'd collected many consumerism treasures and gems and colors of capitalism oriented 'trophies' during my travels in North America and collections of items for my cyber-blogs for commercial vanities and even for my blood-diamond studies with Interpol-relation, and two of my favorite 'treasures' I casted on the world-net included a rare Peter Pan collector's mint-card and Randall Cunningham (Upper Deck) 'Strike-Force' (1999) Eagles-Vikings Super Bowl ambition transfer-market card (wow). These 'treasures' cast a human chess imagination about the 'diagonals' of consumerism expressions in this post-9/11 era. So, that Xmas-season in the challenging Windy-City (North America), I got myself a 'fantastic' pair of woolen/knit red gloves to celebrate all these cyber-chess 'ideations' (Porcellian) of capitalism-defenses in the United States and was walking down the snowy streets of the city of the Bears-Bulls markets (ha). I consider myself a nerdist of Selfie/social-media culture in modern time and hoped to find the right sentimentalism for the Xmas-season and when I was walking in the Chicago snow that winter, I took photos of the walkways/sidewalks and thought of myself as one of those modern city-folk looking at cyber-nets and social-media as a way to 'address' the quality of capitalism storytelling (hmm). That's when I beheld my vision in this post-9/11 era of Chicago's special/own darkness. She was a lady-in-red, wearing a cool jacket and walking with just an umbrella in the snow but no winter-hat or gloves or even scarf, so I ran up to her in my fascination and offered her my red wool-knit (men's!) gloves, and she smiled and told me she was (in fact) an unmarried/single lady of the challenging Windy-City and was taking a stroll for iPhone-shots to complement some cyber-short she'd hoped to write about post-9/11 era Xmas-season shopping spirits. ME: Let me take you shopping...I have 'fantastic' chess-and-capitalism magazines in my Chicago apartment! LADY-IN-RED: Cool. When I took her back to my Windy-City (Chicago) apartment, I showed her (proudly) my 'authentic' and crafted Eastern European chess-set/board, and she smiled and told me I must've been updated with all the Russo-Ukrainian War journals/intrigue on social-media, and I told her that I liked the idea that post Cold-War chess-play/journals offered some 'cool' street-fare/story about the 'quality' of the human race Ego. LADY-IN-RED: I got you this 'fantastic' edition, 1st-American, of Barrie's Peter Pan work, fellow. ME: Cool! We got married and stayed married for 1 year, and during that time, I got a fantastic triplet-set of 1990 World-Series team-member Oliver (Reds) symbolic of underdog-spirits for American sportsmanship/baseball, but my Lady-in-Red then left my company and disappeared somewhere in Europe, and I never saw her again. All I had left as my memory was this triplet-Oliver (Reds) 'chess' memento (wow). LADY-IN-RED: Chess is alright, lover; but remember it's all about the 'game'...never about the Western image (no?). ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
