Hulk's Thorax

Will Bruce Banner (Salk) 'become' a super-force of mutating strength (Hulk) for a Homeland 'meditation' on the 'pure-darkness' of vanity?

"
A modern fun fanfiction of the marvelous Hulk (Marvel Comics) adapted from multiple storylines/movies, including the recent Ang Lee feature! Enjoy,

Bruce Banner tirelessly worked away at his Salk area where he performed examinations of the use of diamond-laser surgical operations on the human genome designed to make very quick/malleable DNA self-organization manipulations to derive a model of a self-adaptive 'super-soldier' of magnifying strength/appearance which he named the Hulk and shared images of on American Homeland social-media for commentary by students/scholars/citizens/journalists.

BRUCE BANNER: I've achieved the minor impossible (Salk) with a cool laser-enhancement of human genome surgery-manipulations and manifold adaptation catalysis creating a potential strength-mutating 'super-soldier' (Hulk) which shall be a 'toast' for all the Western-world 'chess-intelligence' concerning the pure study of the human evolution architecture/fantasy!

His body-enhancing 'super-machine' (Salk) would require some test-subject, but he'd received critics from peers/students (on social media) concerning the 'dark dangers' of playing God with the human DNA and its self-organization 'creativity' and hence felt literally moved to make himself the only/first subject of the Hulk-examination, foregoing any earlier investment in searching for a 'hero' individual, be the glorious Hulk-soldier male/female.

SHELBYE: What've you done here, Banner?
BRUCE: Don't worry, darling; this is all purely Kosher and great for Hulk-comics.
SHELBYE: I doubt this is natural in the dominion of Homeland storyboards, Bruce.
BRUCE: I trust you more than all; I'm confiding to you now that I'm the test-subject!
SHELBYE: If you 'become' this Hulk 'character' (Bruce Banner), I might go single now.
BRUCE: Hey, you wouldn't be the 'first' female scientist with fertility-fears here (ha).

Shelbye had good darn reason to worry for her dear scientist (Salk) boyfriend (Bruce Banner) who became the diamond-surgery genome/phenotype self-reoriented strength mutating character of the great brutish Hulk, who exhibited forms of super-emotional sensitivity blended with a 'natural' muscle-linked form of rage or fury. This was pure science-fiction. However where the philosophy-costs lurked would now surface too.

HULK: Me Hulk smash, celebrity; will fly jet to enemy-land and jump on terrorist-planes!
GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL: Good, Hulk/Bruce; we anticipate a great Crusade with this!
HULK: Me Hulk smash, celebrity; will return for trophy prize of Homeland faerie-tale.
GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL: Good!

Shelbye never got over the tragedy when 'Hulk' (Bruce Banner), her dear boyfriend (Salk) simply vanished from the face of the Earth. Some speculated (on social media) that Bruce Banner was morally depressed after realizing that he'd 'become' a super-force of pure warlike chess and opted to exile himself in a deep cavern/cave of the Grand Canyon perhaps. As she sit in her apartment she once (gloriously!) shared with darling/humble Bruce and enjoyed a bowl of the pizza-soup she once made/toasted with Banner, she wrote in her psychology journal (Salk), "For every discovery of the changes of eternity, we may find the capitalism-race 'cost' of the deep/dark loss of substance...and thought."

"Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson).
