When Amlan and Raki, two college-pals from Dartmouth, decided to spend a series of summer nights at the Windy-City (Chicago) park, hoping to meet a lovely pair of 'heroines' to court for a relationship to augment their post-grad experiment with city-region relocation in the post-9/11 era American Homeland, how they'd anticipate an 'engagement' with an insidious form of mania in the form of a clown-costumed super-psycho with a strange/dark message about the Christian 7-Sins (sloth, wrath, gluttony, pride, greed, envy, lust) applied to the 'morally-vulnerable' folks of Chicago?

AMLAN: I read the 'ethics-fables' of Chaucer/Milton in college and had some 'exercises' with society-application storyboard 'intuition' concerning the mythology of 'Christian-sin values/symbolism' before I encountered this evil Clown-Man in the Windy-City (Chicago) park drawing in me a strange metaphysical ingenuity which I'd want to share on social-media as an experience with living-values conscious hospitality (but that's simply no social-network comfort!).

Well, Amlan/Raki didn't encounter a pair of lovely ladies in the Chicago Park that summer but Amlan met one lovely lady whom he was drawn to that summer after graduation from college, the lovely German-American waitress Shelbye O'Hara, and they hit-it off and would chat in the park while Raki entertained them with hacky-sack games in the grass, but all of this 'social-media friendly' Homeland energy was spied by the stalking modern maniac 'Clown-Man' who eyed the trio of 'buds' with a Christian-heresy handheld.

RAKI: When the 'Clown-Man' approached the three of us one summer night in July in Chicago, he boasted his handy water-guns filled with acid and threatened to spray Shelbye (Amlan's new lady!) in the face lest we 'discover' the right response to his Christian-7 sins 'riddle' ("If all sin without hesitation, who's the judge when frailty's natural hospitality?"); but Amlan had the intuitive ingenuity (and education-chess IQ!) to offer the response of sharpness ("Since all sin without delay, the 'rate' of becoming vulnerable is an 'examination' for the evaluations of 'real' history"); which frustrated the surprised/disarmed 'Clown-Man' and gave me the time to snatch one of his acid-guns and hold him disoriented while Amlan/Shelbye called the police; I'll share this 'ordeal' with my Dartmouth friend (Ted) who likes 'misadventures' in Homeland heights (for all!).

CHICAGO OFFICER DOWNS: "This was a micro-miracle which doubly prevented the hype-media from casting this masked/costumed 'Clown-Man' of hell as a 'radical' with intrigue and instead enabled us to simply put him into the 'heights' of Windy-City sanity-and-justice, and it's all owed to the 'sharp' trio of Americans (Amlan/Shelbye/Raki) who managed to use wits/hands to deliver themselves from this 'grip' of modern post-9/11 era Homeland hellmouth."

SHELBYE: Do you 'doubt' this was some media-stage 'hysteria' for water-gun lore (too)?

AMLAN: Nah; I 'doubt' the social network will cast the Clown-Man as a 'water-gun' prophet of disaster.

SHELBYE: It's a 'worthy' question; for this post-9/11 era Homeland age of hysteria.

AMLAN: Sure; but for all that's glorified by dangers, there's a 'cure' for youthful hate.

RAKI: You two are so heaven!

Amlan/Shelbye would enjoy a Windy-City rescreening of the iconic/gripping American crime-psychology metaphysical thriller Se7en (Brad Pitt) that autumn/Halloween in the city and recount their extra-ordinary 'miracle' with the horrid Clown-Man and his attempt to impose Christian-myth and create a Homeland 'hellmouth' for human race heat (wow).

CLOWN-MAN: I've nothing to say to the media; I'm in a treatment-center now; and I'm 'certain' Amlan/Shelbye are enjoying Chicago-heights of hospitality in diner chicken-pie, having put me 'aside' as simply a maniac of heights-mode (ok).

Amlan went on to become a U-Chicago neuro-philosophy educator and homeschooling 'maestro' of modern theories of advanced concept-brain modeling and computation, comparing the human formulations of decision-making with 'compositions' and constructions of elemental 'heavens' mechanics. He'd forgotten all about the 'hopeless' Clown-Man (wow).

RAKI: I'm so happy to be Amlan's best man at Shelbye's affair (wedding) here in the Windy-City park this summer; here's this psychiatric-center 'Clown-Man doodle' (posted on social-media) which should remind this 'darling-Homeland duo' of how heroics and miracle may remind us that 'good faith' delivers a stranger promise of real high!
