![]() 20th-Century Ghost Story (Basketball)A Story by Abishai100![]() A sports writer considers how a 1992 college-media tourney 'event' signals a superstitions 'view' for Homeland materialism (for the Ego).![]()
A capitalism-media superstitions tale reflecting our American sports-culture for lifestyle 'marketing' (loosely) inspired by the college-athletics 'complexity/intrigue' film Blue Chips (William Friedkin). Thanks for reading!

==== I'd become a special capitalism-race superstitions writer in the post-9/11 era Homeland (America) of social-media culture handshakes and social-net activity interest and storyboards, referencing special 'events' in the sports-media landscape as reflections of traffic-metaphysics, perhaps offering a 'digest' for competition-class education symbolism drawing interest from today's intelligentsia/citizenry for 'working' commentary (for all!). ![]() I got myself a special college-basketball themed chess-set to complement my diagrams of why/how college-media competition 'image' would reflect a new age social-net interest in capitalism-race 'reflective' ambition-activity and network-linked markets (for American brain-teasers!). Well, this chess-diagram 'lens' would remind us (certainly) of all that competition-education of Cold-War chess media (Fischer-Spassky) and offered me special 'ideas' of why/how college-athletics of the modern time created windows-access commentary regarding socialized/choreographed 'group' mindfulness (for the Ego). ![]() Such an examination for windows-access Homeland 'culture' for group-activity for competition-class education would offer special symbolism for capitalism-race 'chess' and intuitions for choreographed forms of ambition/materialism/storytelling (for all). I got myself a special plate of Indian cuisine 'luchi-bread' to feel energized about my special focus on a 20th-Century college-media 'event' (a 1992 'showdown' between the storied Duke Blue-Devils and the time-honored Americana team Indiana Hoosiers). My luchi-bread zest started giving me special goosebumps for why this competition 'diagram' would create an intelligence/emotion for capitalism-race matter (for the Ego). ![]() This event, the Devils-Hoosiers national semifinals match in 1992, featuring a 'reunion' between two coaches (Coach-K and Bob Knight) and a 'showcase' of differing court-marshaling 'stars' (Bobby Hurley and Calbert Cheaney) that produced close-score changes, streaks of intrigue, well-intuitive decision-making (or risk!) and talent leveraged against teamwork. Duke's Hurley produced a special 'mentalism' required to 'temper' the Hoosiers' hot-streaking prodigy Cheaney, resulting in an eventual close-score Duke triumph, a 'premonition' for Duke's national title run that incredible year. Certainly, such a media-windows Homeland 'event' (20th-Century) could provide me a post-9/11 era Homeland storyboard for the social-media handshake-culture 'image' of superstitions (for the Ego). ![]() Well, I decided this Devils-Hoosiers 1992 'showcase' featuring that coach-legend showdown (Coach-K and Bob Knight) and reunion (simultaneously!) would reflect a general American landscape/traffic rhetoric 'confidence' for our new time of commerce/media 'bridge' game of activity-drawn social exchanges/handshakes, perhaps drawing in us (all) that 'ghost-image' of the quality of Earth's mod-material superstitions (sure). ![]() I got myself a Duke-Barbie doll, since I'd become a (secret!) Duke-superfan and I then realized the figurine was whispering to me (in my dreams!). Sure, you might think I was becoming insane or over-zealous, but I assure you, this was (all) American/sane. In fact, this Duke-Barbie had become my newfound 'Galatea' and muse for my special Devils-Hoosiers competition-windows Homeland storyboard. Was I learning (more) about the 'quality' of capitalism-race reflective/symbolic materialism? Could I generate a 'faerie-tale' just about my new Barbie-Galatea mystery (certainly)? BARBIE: You can hear/see me, sports-writer! ME: I've become a 'prince' of media-windows superstitions/sports, Barbie. BARBIE: Cool...that's why you can hear/see me, sports-writer. ME: Excellence; I am (remaining) uncertain about your ghost-message here. BARBIE: Sure; I'm only offering a special mystery-image for capitalism-IQ. ME: Concerning the value of ambition/temperance and marketing (sure)? BARBIE: Sure; in fact, your Devils-Hoosiers 'diagram' seems (all) materialism. ME: Excellence; perhaps this 'showcase' is post Cold-War traffic-mentalism. BARBIE: That's interesting...perhaps you've become a traffic-magician! ME: That sounds (really) great; perhaps you're my 'education' faerie, Barbie. BARBIE: If you like it; perhaps Duke-Indiana is an 'American' matter. ME: Sure; we've got to find special 'superstition(s)' for traffic-mindfulness. BARBIE That's right; you're correct, sports-writer; we need 'spice' for homes! ME: Wow...a windows/media culture access-view for traffic-sculpture(s). BARBIE: Maybe I'm 'talking' to you with a 'ghost-magic' for media-food. ME: What if this is all perceived to be 'brain-candy' for random consumerism? BARBIE: It's likely; however, if you find 'music' for competition, it's literature. ME: Wow, a folk-literature for lifestyle/entertainment 'linked' materialism. BARBIE: That's why you hear me; I'm your 'ghost' faerie of ambition(s). ME: Well, thanx; I guess this was a 'visitation' for myth's mediums. BARBIE: You've that power (now) for showing the 'cool' of fanfare. ME: If I never 'hear' you again, Barbie --- let's say we've found machinery. BARBIE: Excellence. ![]() "Doing well is the result of doing good.
