Gambit knew that the Professor, his sharp mentor and organizing head of the now-respected Institute for gifted mutants (training/recruiting mutant-humanoids of Earth world with extra-human powers of telekinesis/acrobatics/weaponry), was right in assuming the evil Magneto (manipulator of magnet-fields and recruiter of his own evil legion of mutants with powers for schemes) was posing a new brand of special-threat to terrorism fears compounded since 9/11 (Selfie-like).

MAGNETO: Go to the yards of hospitality cleats and find Gambit for games.

MYSTIQUE: My shape-shifting disguise power will challenge Gambit's mind!
MAGNETO: Good...perchance I shall cast darkness against the Institute now.

MYSTIQUE: Professor-X and you used to be friends, sir?

MAGNETO: Yes...but that's the past, and my new/currency legion is now!

MYSTIQUE: Well, maybe this test for Gambit proves terrorism-IQ for all?

MAGNETO: That's the view, Mystique...find Gambit for good-evil shake.

MYSTIQUE: Facebook-like (for leviathan/uncertainty).

Professor X of the Institute really did once trust his now-adversary Magneto, manipulator of magnet-fields, which is why/how he trained Gambit, acrobat/psychic, to find hospitality hubs in the Western world (American Homeland) to engage any (new) legion recruit (e.g., Mystique) to ward-off dark new era threat of terrorism/fascism to create 'good' fencing for commerce/globalism in a time of 'inventive' materials-use for fiction/omens.
