Friends, I sought to make a special world sports (women's tennis) diagram for the 'shocking' late 20th-Century rivalry between Germany's darling titan Steffi Graf (once-indomitable!) and the upstart-workhorse Monica Seles (of Yugoslavia). It had become a modern Selfie/TV/media culture surfacing mantle-piece for commentary on what made social activity and organized competition a pluralism 'affair' for globe-rhetoric. Graf was Germany's crown for TV-sports post-stigma resilience of WWII; Seles was herself enduring background 'troubles' of Yugoslavia's difficult civil wars when a special '92-year moment came for TV/media commentary for this international women's rivalry (Facebook-like!).

Friends, there'd been much social windows for contest/competition re-presentations in our mod-Earth of surfaced tech-toys 'consciousness' for games of international/regional significance and globe-rhetoric, such as Olympics themed video-games and tennis Grand Slam championship referenced trivia challenges for game-show fans in the American Homeland (ha). Well, that '92 moment in the 'fantastic' Graf-Seles women's tennis rivalry came to the arena of Roland-Garros, where the French Open final-match came to an epic scoreline resolution, 6-2, 3-6, 10-8. Wow, it'd be a great media and games 'statement' for things of competition value (for politics!).

Well, that epic scoreline (eventually) went to Seles' favor, despite there being much turns/twists during that best-of-3 sets marathon that went to that arduous/gritty 10-8 final 3rd set tiebreak resolution. I felt like an elated fan watching women's sports 'glitter' despite being a male citizen for men's sports flowery of Earth (e.g., Ali-Frazier). In deeds, Monica Seles of Yugoslavia made 'splash' into our TV/media commentary culture by becoming that upstart-gritty challenger for rivalry really unanticipated by fans of Germany's titan Graf who at first simply seemed completely invincible to any opponent on Earth (wow). The '92 French Open final had therefore become a media-Earth 'glitter' for things of my surfacing Selfie age/culture of traffic/hospitality sanity (for leviathan/uncertainty).

For fans of Germany's Graf, watching that Yugo-driver upstart (Monica Seles) becoming a rivalry-celebrity for a now surefire women's tennis equivalence storytell had become both a heart-tear and a muscle-quiver; and because that '92 French marathon had such a close/long epic scoreline, it was the ideal 'model' for me to link Earth activity rhetoric for languages with my surfacing Selfie age of globe-grid securities 'ghosts' for exchange-monsters (e.g., 9/11).
