Portrait of American baseball cards fantasy/charm and drawn image of time-travel hypnosis for things of unlikely-celebrity and competition's 'ships' of charters.

"
A fiction-fantasy about the ghost-magic of American baseball with a reference to that unlikely-hero of record, Roger Maris (of NY!). Thanks for reading (happy weekend, all)

Amlan Satan, Slovak-Algerian, American Homeland immigrant/citizen, Catholic, sports-fan, and baseball-card collector, had found a special charm because of the 'shine' of his awesome shiny Roger Maris trading-card. Sure, Maris was a great Yankees-star and champion for World Series record, but when he broke the HR-record in a year when game number length for a single-season was extended, folks simply sought to 'critique' the achievement. Amlan felt sorry for Roger, and he cherished his modern Earth baseball card (Facebook-like!).

JOURNAL: "A man moves to the United States and moves into a suburbia and watches kids playing in the playground and has Romanticism in his heart thinking of his Roger Maris baseball treasure (card!) and begins to think he's about to have a dream-scape in which he'd travel back in time and inhabit the body of the great Yankee who broke the HR-record in fine-form but not without Earthling playground critique for the Ego."

Friends, that's just what happened for Mr. Amlan Satan, a Maris-fan who felt uncommon Romanticism for the HR-record breaker as a collector/blogger and found himself transported to that NY-generation that saw that unlikely celeb-status raised American baseball batter become a new 'brand' of legend for Earthling record. Amlan felt himself thinking like good-Roger and chasing that record that ghost-magic season in the States and even the humility/smile/shine Maris felt (ok). Amlan woke right before that magical final-game of that quite-special baseball season that saw that 'fantastic' Maris-record (Selfie-like!).

READER: This Halloween suburbia blog with you as a pirate with cards is funny!
AMLAN: I know it; it was inspired by my dream-sleep vision of time-travel.
READER: You actually imagined you inhabited the body-mind of Roger Maris?
AMLAN: That's truth, reader; and it's why I blog about Halloween pirates for art.
READER: Baseball cards are like chests of gold, Mister Pirate.
AMLAN: That's truth, reader; maybe Maris' card draws me for chirality (ha).
READER: Cool (Facebook-like).
