I'm Going Blind (2008)

The next section of Poems I submit here will be marked with 2008 bcause that is roughly when i wrote them and are of my early work. This one is a short poem about blindness. I hope you like it.

I’m Going Blind

 

Sight fallen far,

Cannot find it now,

Everything’s gone blurred,

Vision is totally lost.

 

It’s getting worse,

The blur is fading,

All is going dark,

I’m going blind.

 

All of my sight is gone,

Totally,

I cannot see,

I must be blind.

 

I cannot find my sight,

I truly can’t,

I’m searching for it,

Oh, here’s my glasses.
