Circle of When

Circle of When

A Poem by C. M. Miller
"

True love is a circle.

"

When words cease,

your eyes complete the sentence.

When your eyes make a promise,

your body fulfills.

When your body welcomes me, your heart

brings me ecstasy.

When your ecstasy envelops me,

my soul is made whole.

When my soul would seek the heavens,

your timeless eyes tether me, saying,

"Not yet dear love, tarry with

me but a moment longer . . . "

I stayed for an eternity

in that moment. . . .

When words cease,

your eyes complete the sentence.

My, my, Charles, your opening line could stand completely on its own! I couldn't believe it when I read it out loud - it literally swept me off my feet.

I could stay for an eternity, in THIS moment! I am most proud of you!
