RANDOM HARVEST

RANDOM HARVEST

A Poem by C. M. Miller
"

thinking. feeling. forward.

"

Your spirit . . . a season that

blossomed in my heart.

My heart remembers . . .

Eyes that invite . . .

Lips that hold,

Hips that challenge.

Eyes that challenge . . .

Hips that hold,

Lips that invite

Lips that challenge . . .

Hips that invite,

Eyes that hold.

Parting is a cold season,

but I plant new seeds

in a random harvest,

and wait for the sun.

Again, had to read three times, wanted to read three times. So like the way you use the words and then alter them verse by verse, each time making a sense, a feeling to each phrase.

The first lines are touching.

Beautiful metaphors coming from a passionate and a very wise soul. Love to read your work. I get to know you through them a little bit at a time. hugs my friend.

I really liked the closing verse...but thought of changing "in our cold hearts" to "in a random harvest". Hmmm, I still like it though!!
