Soaring

A quick love poem with use of interrups.

I'm peering over the ledge,

Heart racing, 

Mind facing The reality that I'm about to-- 

Jump. 

Feet leaving the ground, face first 

Back through the atmosphere, 

You're here 

With me, falling 

Your arms wrapped tight around me, 

Hugging me close and breathing into my ear

 "Fly." 

My wings spread a mile, 

I feel your smile 

Behind the kiss you leave atop my head.

 And I'm soaring high, 

Higher than an astronaut 

Out here where the galaxy is clear 

Where stars smile upon us 

And all is right in my world.
