strangly huge in the mist

strangly huge in the mist

A Poem by Christian Renz

Strangely huge in the mist

Strange and glowing against the wind
You find humming impressions against the earth
Heavy! The demon is coming
Sinister and sticky under the slime
We shove tiny eggs under the dreamscape
Word! The end will be born
Strangely huge in the mist
We grasp grotesque sounds above the towers
Can you dig it? The end will come again
penniless unseeing
walking out of the world
an unreliable map
From which dreams
such a man
look for landmarks
remembering old times
