Poem to bring me out of a 4 year hiatus. Warning, will be rusty.

Closer the truth

Clearly it becomes

Dynamic it can be

Closer here it comes

Clearly in my eyes

How dynamic it can be 

I want to make you scream

I want to make you cry

I just want you to hold me

Hold me til' I die

Closer is the truth

Clearly it becomes

Dynamic it can be

Closer here is me

Clearly in my soul

How dynamic we can be

I want to make you scream

I want to make you cry

I just want you to hold me

Hold me til' I die

I want to make you smile

I want to make you mine

I just want you to trust me

Here as I lie

Here as I lie

Thank you, a lot of my writing process is in the vain of writing for a lyric/song. Some are just small poems, but most are lyric imaginings.

Do you create the tune as you write the lyric or before - or even after?

It varies, I can have a tune in mind before I write but I can add a phrase or word that drastically shifts the writing into a different tune.
