Life vs. Death

Life vs. Death

A Poem by Amanda

I have a choice: to go, or yet to stay;
And I, with my impassioned point of view
Have yet to speak of this great choice to you,
And must before night disappears to day.
You see, in life there’s much for me to do—
Abundance of bright happiness and much
More, still—I want to stay and still to touch
The flowers that were blessed with drops of dew.

But death, I know, has much to offer me,
For Christ shall be there, and, taking his hand
I’ll gaze across the glorious distant land,
And then my long-gone family shall I see.
And so, between these portals grand wait I,
To make my choice: to live, or simply die.

this piece is lovely and the flow is great too.
Indeed, death proceeds life but still that cant stop us from doing and seeing the positive side of life, or better yet visualising and hoping that in death lies a path to better life. the opening is the poem is strong, very strong. nice write.
