Losing Perfection

Mourning AP as it used to be.

 

From tall church tower

subdued ringing,

 

from jazz stage

blues singing,

 

all the poetry mourns.

Had to search to find the place to answer back.
This short mourning piece was from the previous big AP "up-downgrade"
in 2011. And now this one is the end of all the great things we could do there.

I started here last year but stopped after I got use to the last upgrade-downgrade but now I've started back again, I don't like the yet again new upgrade-downgrade Kevin has planned, even signed the petition on AP about it, every way I think I'll divide my time and come either here, Starlite Cafe or AP and when those new changes come about if I cannot handle them maybe make it a permanent home here, I have started moving my favorite poems here, its good to see you here, another I talked to might be moving here too, I sure hope Beth does, miss her here

As we all know Ap, it may have fix up some things, but the thing is, its not the same, its like the friendships i have ahd contact with has also been wiped with the new site..I long to go back, even though i am still a member there.
This poem has sadness written all over it, we all still mourn our faithful AP.
I jsut dont like how Sharepoetry,Storywrite,Allpoetry is in one page now. I always loved the Sharepoetry whenever i wanted to get away from AP for abit.

I should like to see you take out that last "the" in the last stanza,
for so many of A.P.'s writers are already here.

I am almost certain All Poetry mourns.

This poem certainly reflects the sentiments of many who mourn the loss
of the great All Poetry.

Perhaps we should have a service of some sort.
A ritual to mark her passing.
