Illusion

Illusion

A Poem by Adrian Frederick Adam
"

The world's illusion

"

The world is on shaking debt, but to whom do we, all, owe it to?

We’re under an illusion, a vision that has obscured the truth

Now what you’re ‘bout to hear’s a tale of glory and sin

Readjust your mental to let the story begin

The world is on shaking debt, but to whom do we have to owe it to?

I can’t seem to get the idea that we’re all going through.

You telling me we need to pay, to pay someone who don’t exist?

By the stupidity of our people on our history list.

Forgive and forget, unwritten law that’s being virtue-d.

I heard you, but it still hurts you, when you get your bills soon.

I get it. We need our taxes for our own expense

What I don’t get is why money - on it, where our world depends.

I ain’t mad. Just disappointed, that’s all I am.

We’ve built rockets, but still we can’t get away from this sham.

What does it take to wake you up from this unending cycle?

Learning from your suffering. Your story is your bible.

We are being told promises, policies that could help us.

But commodities in their politics, still can’t be addressed.

Now, what kind of world is this, getting its glory from sin?

Where: the rich do all the robbing, and poor left with all the nothing.

It’s haunting to wake up, then raked up from the blood of your own.

Then they’ll tell you to get you back, but the b***h left you alone.

That’s what we’re here to try to do, snap you out the illusion

Have to be kept aware and pulled up from corruption before.

We ket the World Down,

And all the people around it.

Have to find faith,

before the banks can redesign and

Let the World Down,

Have to know just where we're from

have to break the greed,

before it breaks our home

The world is on shaking debt, but to whom do we, all, owe it to?

We’re under an illusion, a vision that has obscured the truth.

Now what you’re ‘bout to hear’s a tale of glory and sin

Readjust your mental, to see how this story will end.
