Samurai

Samurai

A Poem by Agogobran
"

A warrior's tale ...

"
This blade is known for skill and death
You'll be at its end with your last breath
Cunning and fierce, I'm faster than light
Cloaked in darkness like the night

My shield is my faith alone
Miles away from my home.
The king is my idol and guide
From this blade, you can not hide

Katana steel painted in red
Off with your limbs and your head
Through the gut in the end
Empowered by light to defend

The empire grows as I kill
Not for honor, but for thrills
I am the slayer, the one, the night
Call me guardian. I am samurai.

The Shadow On My Shoulder
There is an angel who sits upon my shoulder who goes by the name of Death...
