Reassurance from a love that we've invested so much of ourselves in is natural. Reciprocity is one of the layers needed in relationships of any kind. When a love has soured, such unexpectedness may surprise us, initially. However, it is only after we've experienced love that we truly know the feeling--the pain--of love loss. Interesting and simple. Great read.
