It's Too Late

It's Too Late

A Poem by AhEed AbRar

It's a bit too late,
don't be sorry it ain't your mistake,
straighten up little soldier,
your times 'bout to come,
cease it,
don't ever release it,
you'll never believe it,
this is you're only chance,
don't efface it.

You ain't getting me,
I'm as fast as light,
catch me if you can,
if I were you I would not have tried,
'cause it doesn't feel right,
you and me together,
it ain't alright.

Think I'm having a dream,
that involves you and me together,
is that a feather or just leather,
seems as if I've been knocked out cold,
can't understand a thing,
my minds going to and fro,
It can't be a coincidence,
you and me getting poisonous,
through acquaintance,
tell me this ain't reality,
'cause I'm nothing without you.

So wake me up to the crimson skies,
and light the way of the dwindled path,
with a ray of hope,
without a startling mope.

I like a lot of the connections that you made here, the way you separated the stanzas made it a lot easier to understand! It was easy to read and it didn't hurt my head as much as some poems do, and I really enjoyed reading it! Keep writing!
