I thought you were the one for me

This is a poem about my heartache that I have suffered.

I thought you were the one for me.

I thought you would be the one that would make me happy.

I thought you would never hurt me.

I thought you would always be there for me

But, boy was I wrong!

You took my heart and stomped on it.

You never have time for me.

You never say you love me.

You act like you are ashamed of me.

Right now, I don't know to think

I love you and I want us to work

But, I don't know if it will

The only way we can work is if you change

The question is 'Will you?'

The more important question is 

Do you want to lose me?

Because I don't want to lose you.
