What Happened?

What happened to the love we shared

It feels like it's going no where

We held each other so very close

But now it seems it's come to a close

Have we never actually loved

Was it all just a play

Have we never actually loved

I don't know what to say....

 

What happened to the smiles we exchanged

The slow walks around the park

The moods we shared, they seem to change

The sky has become dark.

Did we never look into one's eyes

And felt a deepness in our hearts

Was I the only one who believed a lie

And you were fooling me from the start?

Have we never actually loved

Was it all just an act

Have we never actually loved

Was there something that I lacked?

 

Why did you treat me this way

You held me close to you

Just to leave me the next day

I guess I was a toy for you

It was nothing new

Nothing's true

Even if I don't know why.
