The Heart of PainA Poem by Charles A OforiThis poem speaks for and on behalf of everyone who is misunderstood by others. The Writer by his nature, is calm, silent on many issues and less expressive. This poem speaks the silent mind.My Juvenile blunders are crime?
While you rage and fume, I smile,
I giggle at your ignorance
Blame me not for things from your
impaired view For you know not, what the whole
holds.
I am juvenile and living at your
mercy for a price Your mind is fixed, holding time
at your stride
If you would listen to my
silence, your sun will rise Your time is fleeting and your
trophies wane
If you will admit that my silence
is no guilt, you will listen to the silence of wisdom,
you will gain when you wane
You rant on, you rage!
Why do you accuse me of things of
which I am innocent?
Oh! Treat me not like you know me
not, For you know not, what the future
holds for me. © 2023 Charles A OforiAuthor's Note
